Landhaus Alexa is a large exclusive use holiday house separated into 4 individual apartments, sleeping 10.

Ideally located in the heart of the Ski Amade Region, popular with friends and family groups for winter adventures, summer holidays or mini breaks. Pets welcome by arrangement. Self catering or we offer B&B, half or full board on request.

The pistes of Eben are great for beginners, with access to ski schools, apres ski and ski hire on the doorstep. More accomplished skiers can explore the 865km of ski runs in the Ski Amade region, with the added convenience of the ski bus that passes the door. This mountain chalet is also a fantastic choice for summer walking, climbing, cycling and water sports holidays. Many of the ski lifts are open during the summer months so visitors can reach the higher peaks or explore the 100km of walking and cycling routes.

The 4 apartments are self contained with small kitchens and dining spaces, ideal for preparing breakfast and evening meals. If everyone wants to eat together, the garden area is always sunny. Use of the barbecue, with outside seating is a really sociable area to gather and take in the stunning Alpine backdrop. There's also a guest dining room seating 16. TVs in each apartment allows for some down time after a tiring day on the hills. Accommodation is comfortable, a mix of Austrian twin beds and bunk beds. All bedrooms on the first floor have en-suite facilities and balcony access.

The buzz of Altenmarkt im Pongau is just a 5 minute drive, offering an array of bars and eateries and the Therme Amade, a spa facility, with thermal baths and saunas for soothing aching muscles and relaxation, popular in summer and winter. Salzburg can be reached in under an hour, a beautiful fortified city, famous for being Mozart's birthplace and several Sound of Music sites. The owners recommend that guests have a car for getting out and about so they can visit attractions such as the Hallein Salt Mines and Eisrieswelt Ice Caves and the Hohenwerfen Castle, via the A10 Autobahn.

There are over 12 ski areas within a 20 minute drive of the house, offering an amazing array of pistes, mountain huts and mountain views.

Facilities

Each apartment has a small compact kitchen with oven, hob, microwave and fridge.
The apartments have inside dining for the number of guests. There is also a communal dining room for larger groups to socialise together.
There are comfy sofas in each living area.
Satellite TV in each apartment.
WiFi is available throughout.
There is no games room.
Centrally heated throughout.
There are 4 apartments. Sleeping up to 10. Additional beds can be requested.
Bed linen and bathroom towels are provided.
All the apartments have their own private bathrooms. Some bedrooms have an en-suite.

There is no pool, but Therme Amade spa facility is a 5 minute drive from the chalet. In the Summer the local towns all have outdoor swimming lakes.

There is no smoking allowed inside the property or on the balconies, due to their wooden structure. Smoking is outside at the front of the house.

Location

Ski Amade access is under 5 minutes from the house and 50 minutes from Salzburg. The ski lift at Monte Popolo is 5 minutes and ski village of Flachau is 10 minutes. Good road access via A10 Autobahn.
Altenmarkt im Pongau is a 5 minute drive. Flachau is 10 minutes. The busy resort of Zauchensee is only 20 minutes away, with regular free, ski buses for transport.
Spar in Eben under 5 minutes and there is a Lidl in Altenmarkt.
There is a small range of bars and restaurants in Eben village.

A 30% deposit is required to confirm the booking, refundable up to 30 days of arrival and the full balance due 14 days before arrival. Please read the cancellation policy. Pet charges upon request. There is an end charge for cleaning.

Austria
There is a railway station in Eben im Pongau, but more frequent train travel is available from Bischofshofen, 20 minutes drive.
The ski bus and other main buses pass the property. Taxis are available, but need to be pre booked.
Salzburg Airport is 45 minutes drive from the property.
