## About The Property

Sleeps 2 to 22 in La Grange and Le Cottage at Las Razes:

These two can used together for larger groups

Converted from a lovely old farmstead, overlooking a beautiful peaceful valley and nestled in amongst woodland, there's plenty of room for large groups to find their own space and enjoy the floral terraces and lovely views. Las Razes has a lovely atmosphere - it's somewhere people return to, feel at home at and find they can just relax and re-charge.

La Grange has 8 en suite bedrooms, sleeping 18 (max 16 adults) and we can also provide cots.

However, if your party is larger then we have an adjacent cottage. It is possible to book (subject to availability) an extra bedroom from the cottage to go with the main house, or for even more accommodation you could book the cottage with its 2 en suite bedrooms. Not sure how your party would fit - just contact us!

The thing that sets the accommodation at Las Razes apart is that, whatever the weather, there's enough indoor space for you to relax and eat - together! Our outdoor seating also allows for dinner for 2 or a banquet for 20+. We can help with caterers too, or organise wine tasting for your group.

For a really relaxing holiday, there's plenty to do without leaving the house and gardens - a heated swimming-pool, snooker, bikes, darts, terrace chess, table tennis, badminton, swing ball as well as a DVD and book library. In the garden of Le Cottage - you will also find some lovely woodland with 2 very comfy hammocks, a lovely way to while away some time under the trees.

For groups who like to explore, Las Razes lies just outside of the lovely village of Touffailles, situated in the department of the Tarn et Garonne, and is a wonderful base for discovering this beguiling corner of the former Midi-Pyrénées, (now Occitanie) region. Sunflowers, fruit and wheat grow on the rolling hills, stunning lakes wait to be discovered, and medieval villages with their amazing markets abound. And there's perfect peace too.

## Facilities

- **WiFi:** There is free WiFi in the salon area.
- **Accessibility:** No specific facilities - but there are downstairs bedrooms.
- **Dog Friendly:** We have two small dogs and welcome well-behaved, cleaned-up-after dogs. Please exercise in neighbouring fields. We have two cats and fenced chickens.
- **Kitchen:** The kitchen is fitted with 2 eye-level electric ovens and gas hob. 2 large fridges and a freezer plus a microwave, dishwasher and washing machine.
- **Dining Room:** The dining area is situated in the large salon area (140 sq m). Everyone can eat together.
- **Sitting Room:** The sitting area and dining room are all together in one huge, beamed room. There is plenty of comfy seating and reading areas in this room.
- **TV and Music Facilities:** DVD area with selection of films. Blue Tooth music system with speakers throughout the salon. Plus TV with free channels from the UK.
- **Games Room:** Adjoining the salon/dining area there is a snooker table. Inside there is also a darts board.
- **Heating and Open Fires:** The salon area has two wood burning stoves. The main house is not let during the winter months so these are rarely used.
- **Bedrooms:** 4 double, 3 twin, 1 family (double with adjoining bunks). Some interconnect. 2 doubles in cottage - all en suite shower rooms. Doubles are kingsize.
- **Linen:** All linen is provided, including towels and pool towels.
- **Bathrooms:** All rooms have an en suite shower room. Plus one downstairs toilet, off the salon area.
- **Children's Facilities:** Cots, high chair.
- **Outdoor:** Shaded terrace, giant chess, badminton, swing ball, table tennis, bbqs, bikes, sun beds, terrace furniture. Plenty of room to eat al fresco together.
- **Swimming Pool:** 12 x 5 m - heated salt water pool, integral steps.
- **Parking:** Parking for 8 - 10 cars.
- **Smoking:** No smoking in buildings, or in garden/woodland areas - terrace only - no butts accepted anywhere!

We are about 1km outside of the village of Touffailles, 8km from Lauzerte and Montaigu de Quercy and about 15km from Montcuq.

### What's Nearby?

- **Bus:** No local services.
- **Location:** Lauzerte: this lovely medieval bastide town perches on a hill top and overlooks the valleys to all sides. It has all the necessary services, bars, restaurants.
- **Shop:** Boulangerie in Touffailles - 1km. Supermarkets are in Lauzerte and Montaigu de Quercy, both about 8km.
- **Food and Drink:** Miramont de Quercy 4km - restaurant. Then Lauzerte or Montaigu de Quercy 8km. Many options around and about.
- **Airport:** Bergerac 85km, Toulouse about the same - 1 hour and 15 minutes usually. People also use Bordeaux, Carcassonne, Brive.
- **Train:** Agen for TGV from Paris - about 45 mins. Cahors/Moissac also OK but not for TGV.
