Le Manoir is an exceptionally beautiful and elegant house, sympathetically and carefully restored to a very high standard, accommodating modern requirements but keeping a very luxurious French style.

Le Manoir is perfect for hosting any special event including family celebrations, weddings and anniversaries. This fabulous setting will make any occasion unforgettable.

The approach is impressive, showing the house at its best from the large gates. The setting is secluded but not isolated, only a 3 minute drive to the nearest town which has most facilities. A leisurely walk takes approx 15 mins.

Le Manoir comfortably sleeps 12 adults. The kitchen is the hub of the house, and there's plenty of seating for everyone - traditional yet stylish and catering for every need. The living room area has comfortable but elegant seating, as well as a 43" flat screen TV, freesat TV and docking station. The dining area seats 12 people and several sets of French doors lead out to the terrace. 2 impressive staircases reflect the elegance and grandeur of the house.
We also have a beautiful cosy garden log cabin which sleeps an additional 2 people. This is priced separately to the main house.

The terrace for BBQs and alfresco dining is accessible from the kitchen, dining and living room and also from the downstairs suite. This is a great gathering area for the whole family/group. The rear of the house is completely secluded and the terrace overlooks the beautiful 12 x 6m pool and tennis court. We have added a poolside shower room, 2 WCs and a treatment room for those all important pamper sessions! There are plenty of poolside loungers and parasols. An external kitchen in the pool area has a washing machine, dryer, cooker, fridge and sink.

The gardens are simple and elegant to reflect the house. The grounds cover 7000m sq, with secluded areas of the garden in which to sit and read in the shade, or just relax in the total peace and tranquility of the beautiful gardens.

Open plan dining area. 18 century banquet table to seat 12. Original French cupboards painted in a shabby chic style. Crystal chandeliers.
Open plan sitting room, 4 comfortable sofas and additional comfy chairs. Log burner for spring and autumn evenings. French doors open onto terrace.
Large flat screen TV and DVD player in the sitting room. Very wide range of games and DVDs. Docking station.
WiFi through out the house.
There is no games room.
For spring and autumn there is a wonderful log burner. Central heating throughout for specific months only.
All bedrooms are en suite. Top suite - superking bed. Middle and ground floor suites - king bed. 2 double beds and 1 twin bedded room.
All linen include. Each bathroom has 2 bath towels and 2 hand towels. Clean sheets and towels will be provided for guests staying for 2 weeks or more.
3 suites: bath, shower, WC, twin basins. 2 doubles: shower, WC, single basin. Twin room: shower, WC, twin basins. All showers are large walk ins.
Access at the front of the property via ramp over the steps. Ground floor suite accessible by wheelchair although no bathroom disabled facilities.
Pool alarm, travel cot. Baby sitting possible. Request at booking.

Fabulous 12 x 6 m swimming pool. Please note there is not a shallow end. Depth approx 1.8 m. Large poolside area with loungers and parasols.
There is ample secure parking at the front of the property. Please park on the drive ( gravel areas only) not on the grass.
No smoking inside the house at any time. If guests smoke please ensure it is outside and all remains must be removed afterwards.
No pets.

Just a few minutes drive from town of Blanzac and 30 minutes from historic city of Angouleme; beautiful town of Aubeterre is a leisurely 20 minutes away and the world famous Cognac only 45 minutes.
Blanzac Porcheresse 3 minute drive from Le Manoir. 15 min easy walk.
3 minute drive or 15 minute walk to pharmacy, boulangeries, tabac, bank, supermarkets.
3 mins drive or 15 minute walk to town of Blanzac Porcheresse.

Booking Information

Our week runs Saturday to Saturday. Deposit of 50% to book. Balance 6 weeks before arrival date. T & Cs on request when booking.
£750 damage deposit required. Payable with the balance. This will be returned after guests departure. Changeover days Saturday. Flexibility possible outside high season.
