Available during quieter periods of the academic year, the Centre offers a tranquil and characterful setting for self-catering groups who value simplicity and space. 15 bedrooms (some en-suite) 2 large communal bathrooms with divided shower cubicles Spacious communal areas, including a lounge with sofas and TV, plus a Games Hall with projector Large dining room Fully equipped commercial kitchen Private driveway with ample on-site parking Boot room for outdoor gear Guests also enjoy access to seven acres of private grounds — ideal for games, reflection, or outdoor activities. For those with mobility needs, Leeson House includes an accessible bedroom and wet room, along with a lift to the dining room area to ensure a comfortable stay. The centre is located in the charming village of Langton Matravers, home to a historic church, cosy pub, and small farm shop. Swanage is just a short walk, 10-minute drive, or bus ride away, with a bus stop conveniently located at the end of our driveway. Please note: Leeson House is not suitable for stag or hen weekends, as we aim to preserve the peaceful environment and educational purpose of the site. If you’re seeking a scenic, affordable, and welcoming venue for your next group getaway, Leeson House offers a truly memorable setting. ## Facilities - **Dog Friendly:** No pets sorry! - **Accessibility:** Accessible via ramp, with ground floor rooms including an easy-access bedroom, rise-and-fall bed, and wet room. - **WiFi:** Internet and WiFi, limited mobile phone signal. - **Kitchen:** Modern, well equipped kitchen available for group use. - **Dining Room:** One large dining room, plus a smaller dining room and a conservatory dining space. - **Sitting Room:** One large comfortable lounge. - **TV and Music Facilities:** One small TV in the lounge. Projector available in Games Hall. - **Games Room:** Large games room with table tennis, pool table (bring 50ps!) and table football. 4 sofas for comfortable seating. - **Heating and Open Fires:** Central heating throughout - no open fires. - **Bedrooms:** 15 bedrooms varying in size from 2 to 12 beds. - **Linen:** Can be provided on request for additional cost. Please bring your own towels. - **Bathrooms:** Two large communal shower rooms divided by cubicles. Three additional smaller shower rooms with toilets throughout the building. - **Children's Facilities:** Games room, children's games and lots of grounds to explore including a bird hide. - **Outdoor:** Large lawn at the front of the house, games field, woods, ponds, fire pit and meadows. The house is situated in the Isle of Purbeck, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and is only a short drive from Swanage town centre, where shops, supermarkets, and local amenities can be found.
