A trip to the charming village of Limeuil, where the Dordogne River and the Vezerre Rivers converge, is a must. Drive to Beynac village and hop onto a gabarre flat bottomed boat to enjoy an unforgettable chateaux finding cruise. And these are just for starters.
There is so much more to explore including the pretty village of Tremolat just a short walk away to pick up fresh croissants and bread for the day ahead. Les Chouettes is a fantastic winter destination for a Christmas or New Year escape with lots of walking and cycling opportunities in the day rounded off with an evening spent by the warming wood burner in the cosy lounges.
The Cottage at Les Chouettes is a 250 year old traditional property brimming with period features further reflected in the recent barn conversion next door. The 2 gites work really well for all groups including multi generational groups and families. Both have open plan living spaces which make socialising effortless whether dining inside or out. The pool with sun terrace is the focal point for fun and relaxation although guests may like to find some peaceful shade sitting outside the Cottage sipping some local wine or a coffee.

The high vaulted ceilings in both houses offers spacious luxury French chic bedrooms with shuttered windows overlooking the pretty mature gardens.
