## About The Property

At Les Rivieres Gites, we can offer an enchanting French countryside wedding venue surrounded by nature with the exclusive use of the 10-acre holiday complex over 7 nights. Nestled in the Dordogne countryside and easily accessible from UK airports, Les Rivieres Gites enables you to extend the wedding celebrations and combine with a lovely holiday with your family and friends.

We have accommodation for up to 37 people in 5 properties which all share the pool, games room, fishing lake and other activities on site. After exchanging your vows in the woodland clearing, under the canopy of trees with just the birds singing and the wind rustling through the leaves, you can enjoy reception drinks and lawn games in the garden before a delicious wedding breakfast under the covered terrace. The covered terrace is the perfect blank canvas for your theme and can host up to 60 guests. There is a bar area next door which can be pre stocked by yourselves from the local wine merchants with beer on tap!

For the wedding meal you can choose from a formal 3 course menu, a bespoke sharing experience or a relaxed barbecue. We work with a number of trusted caterers that specialize in using local, seasonal produce to your specifications. The evening can finish with dancing to a band or disco into the early hours under the festoon lighting.

During your stay we can also arrange excursions – perhaps a bit of wine tasting or for the more energetic some canoeing or tree climbing. Or a pre or post wedding pizza evening using the restored original bread oven on site. It’s a relaxed fun evening ending around the firepit toasting marshmallows and star gazing!

We work with fantastic suppliers to make the planning easy including photographers, florists, wine merchants, hair and makeup artists, yoga teachers, caterers. If possible, we recommend a visit (included in price) so we can show you around, discuss your needs, meet the caterers and other suppliers, and help plan your perfect day or week!!

We do not host weddings in winter or autumn months.

- **Games Room:** Billiard table, 2x table tennis, air hockey, babyfoot, dressing up box, bats and boules, Molkky. Ninja course.
- **Heating and Open Fires:** Lovely log burners, all wood provided.
- **Bedrooms:** Fans, fly screens.
Gite1: 3 doubles, 2 double+single, 1 twin. Gite2 : 3 double, 1 twin.
Gite3: 2 double,1 double+single. Gite4/5: 1 double, 1 triple.
- **Linen:** All linen provided plus 1 large and 1 small towel per person. You may want to bring extra pool towels.
- **Bathrooms:** Baths and showers available.
- **Children's Facilities:** Lots! Football, badminton, ping pong, trampoline, bikes, maze, toys, sandpit, water table, paddling pool, pond dipping, fishing, ninjaline. Baby kit.
- **Outdoor:** Surrounded by woods, meadows & gardens. Each has BBQ with shady seating with parasols and loungers. Large communal covered seating area. 10 acres.
- **Swimming Pool:** 14m x 6m heated pool securely fenced, can be locked at night for extra security. Supervised night time swimming with light on. Open May to end Sep.
- **Parking:** On-site parking and undercover parking for 7+ cars.
- **Smoking:** No smoking inside gites.

## Booking Information

- The prices are based on renting all 5 properties and exclusive use of the site.
- Late July and August our changeover is Saturday and rented on a weekly basis. The rest of the year we can be totally flexible with arrival and departure dates, with a 2 night minimum stay. On a bank holiday weekend minimum 3 nights.
- 
- Dogs accepted on request 50£/dog maximum 2 dogs.
