Holiday Rental for Groups of Families and Friends. The Lighthouse Barn, Ashbourne, Peak District, sleeps 16 - 20 in 8 bedrooms.

The Lighthouse Barn is a beautiful large luxury group house sleeping a maximum of 16 guests in 6 bedrooms, all en suite. A huge open plan entertainment/living area occupies one end of the building, with the residential bedrooms occupying the other. With a 'nautical theme' throughout, soft furnishings are in blues, aqua and sand colours, and there are stunning pictures of lighthouses and coastal scenes everywhere. This 'state of the art' Lighthouse barn, newly available for holiday lets, has stunning south facing views, and there are breathtaking walks right on your doorstep.

The huge entertainment area has a large dining area to comfortably seat everyone around a gorgeous large oak table. The lower area boasts a huge feature arched window with ample comfortable 'Orangery style' seating, two widescreen TVs and a feature log burning stove. The Galley kitchen has been equipped with everything you might need to cater for large groups, including 2 dishwashers, a wine chiller, large American style fridge/freezer and large range cooker.

One of the bedrooms is a stunning and spacious galleried room and four of the rooms are triples and spacious with the flexibility of being zip/link, so can be either singles or super king size depending on individual guests preferences.

The Lighthouse has an unspoilt and very private location, with its own long drive and huge secure car parking area for up to 20 cars, with dawn to dusk lighting.

There is the further option of combining The Lighthouse Barn with The Coach House Barn (approx 30 ft away) which can sleep a further 4 guests in two bedrooms, both en suite, giving an occupancy of 20 guests. Alternatively, guests can combine Lighthouse with its 'Flag Ship' property Farmhouse & Annexe which sleeps a further 20 guests in 9 bedrooms to take the total occupancy up to 40 guests in 17 bedrooms, all en suite or with private bathrooms.

Lighthouse Barn has such a huge entertainments area that further large table/tables can be added to allow all 40 guests to sit and dine together and enjoy fun and camaraderie in one property and when its time to retire guests can depart to the privacy of their own room at Uppermoor Farm.

Location

Set in stunning, elevated location within 70 acres of private parkland in the heart of the Peak National Park, in the middle of the ‘golden triangle’ equi-distance to Ashbourne, Bakewell and Buxton.

  • Ashbourne.
  • Derby about 45 minutes by car. Matlock and Derby both about 45 minutes by car. Derby offers more frequent train times.
  • Pretty market towns of Ashbourne, Bakewell and Buxton are all a similar short drive away.
  • Ashbourne, Bakewell and Buxton all have a great selection of boutiques, shops and supermarkets. Parwich Village has a pub/village store for emergency supplies and nearby Newhaven Garage and shop too.
