Linlithgow Hostel offers comfortable and affordable group accommodation in the picturesque town of Linlithgow, West Lothian. Sleeping up to 32 guests in 15 rooms (13 twin and 2 triple), it’s an ideal base for school groups, walking holidays, church retreats, family gatherings, and community getaways.

The hostel is just a few minutes’ walk from Linlithgow Palace, the loch, the Union Canal, and the train station, making it perfectly placed for exploring the rich heritage, independent shops, cafes, and scenic routes of the area. Day trips to Edinburgh, Glasgow, or Stirling are quick and easy, with direct trains running regularly from the town. The hostel is centrally located making it only a 15 minute drive from Edinburgh Airport and within an easy drive of many amazing activities and places to go. We have a list of activities available within a 20 minute drive of the hostel that we would be happy to share with you.

Rooms are clean, simple and well equipped. Our twin rooms all have their own en suite bathroom and both of the triple rooms have private toilets and shower rooms across the hall. A small kitchenette is available for group use, complete with fridge, microwave, sink, washing machine, and a reuse shelf with various handy products. 

The hostel is part of the Low Port Centre, a lively community hub supporting local charities, small businesses, and grassroots groups.
