Sleeping up to 32 guests in 15 rooms (13 twin and 2 triple), it’s an ideal base for school groups, walking holidays, church retreats, family gatherings, and community getaways. The lodge is just a few minutes’ walk from Linlithgow Palace, the loch, the Union Canal, and the train station, making it perfectly placed for exploring the rich heritage, independent shops, cafes, and scenic routes of the area. Day trips to Edinburgh, Glasgow, or Stirling are quick and easy, with direct trains running regularly from the town. The lodge is centrally located making it only a 15 minute drive from Edinburgh Airport and within an easy drive of many amazing activities and places to go. We have a list of activities available within a 20 minute drive of the lodge that we would be happy to share with you. Rooms are clean, simple and well equipped. Our twin rooms all have their own en suite bathroom and both of the triple rooms have private toilets and shower rooms across the hall. A small kitchenette is available for group use, complete with fridge, microwave, sink, washing machine, and a reuse shelf with various handy products.  The lodge is part of the Low Port Centre, a lively community hub supporting local charities, small businesses, and grassroots groups. When you stay here, you’re not just booking accommodation — you’re contributing to something bigger, helping sustain a space that supports the local area all year round. The Low Port Centre has several bookable meeting spaces, so if your group needs a breakout space, or somewhere to eat together, we may have the perfect place for you. Whether you're planning a school residential, an outdoor activity weekend, or a low-key retreat, Linlithgow Lodge offers a warm, down-to-earth base in a fantastic central location — with history, nature, and community right on your doorstep.  ## Facilities - **Accessibility:** 6 ground floor rooms, with 2 of these featuring wet rooms. Ramp at entrance for wheelchair access. 3 designated parking spaces near entrance. - **WiFi:** Each floor of the hostel has it's own free WiFi to make sure that no matter where you are you'll get fast and reliable WiFi. - **TV and Music Facilities:** Each room has a TV on which you can log in to your favourite streaming service. - **Dining Room:** The Low Port Centre has several bookable meeting spaces which may be used as somewhere for a group to eat together. - **Bedrooms:** 13 twins and 2 triple rooms. The twins have en suite facilities. - **Kitchen:** A small kitchenette is available for group use, complete with fridge, microwave, sink, washing machine. ## Rental Rates Please contact the owner for pricing. ## Booking Information - Twin rooms are priced at £70 per night and triple rooms at £85; however we do offer discounts to large group bookings (4 rooms or more) - - For group bookings we request a non refundable 10% deposit on booking, final payment will be required 2 weeks before arrival. - - Check in from 3pm, check out by 10am.
