Set in the heart of Eryri National Park, the historic Llanfendigaid Estate has been in the Nanney-Wynn family and their forebears since AD 1241. Once stretching the length of the Welsh coastline from Harlech to Aberystwyth, the estate now offers an idyllic corner of the coast, with panoramic sea views, direct access to stunning hikes, and beautiful landscaped grounds to explore.

Today, the estate features eight exceptional properties, plus a charming Shepherd's Hut and Pod, each offering a unique blend of heritage character and modern comfort. Guests can also enjoy the indoor heated swimming pool and ping pong table, perfect for relaxing after a day of adventure.

The Main House (sleeps 18): A Grade II* listed Georgian masterpiece with 9 bedrooms, 2 living rooms, a large dining space, and sea views. Ideal for group gatherings

 
The Cow Shed (5* Visit Wales): A beautifully converted barn with light-filled interiors, a south-facing private courtyard, and easy access to coastal walks

 
Dove & Stable Cottages (4* Visit Wales): Two Grade II listed 2-bedroom cottages, each with enclosed gardens, wood burners, and cosy modern finishes

 
Laundry & Workshop Cottages (newly renovated, 2025): Stylish open-plan cottages with mezzanine floors, designed for couples (plus a child). One is pet-free, while the other is dog-friendly


Whether you're gathering with family, escaping for a romantic break, or exploring with your dog, Llanfendigaid offers the perfect base. With sea views, walks from your door, peaceful grounds, and shared leisure facilities, this is where history, luxury, and nature come together.

## Facilities

- **Dog Friendly:** There is an additional charge of £30 per dog per booking.
- **Accessibility:** There are no dedicated facilities for individuals with disabilities; however, The Cow Shed cottage is located entirely on the ground floor.
- **WiFi:** Good mobile coverage within 1/4 mile but very limited on site. Site payphone and ultra high speed 100 Mbs (up and down) leased line fibre broadband.
- **Kitchen:** Well equipped kitchens with oil and electric cookers, very large fridge and large freezer, dishwasher and generally equipped for the full complement.
- **Dining Room:** The Cow Shed dining room seats 34 - perfect for large group celebration dinners and intimate weddings. Llanfendigaid House seats 20.
- **Sitting Room:** Main house - TV and drawing rooms easily seating 17.
The Cow Shed - Large open plan seating area, seating 12 + with extra chairs available on request.
- **TV and Music Facilities:** Large screen TVs with FreeSat, DVD.
- **Heating and Open Fires:** Full oil-fired central heating and wood burners in all accommodations.
- **Bedrooms:** Main House sleeps 18 in 9 rooms, 4SK, 1D, 2TW, 1Trip, 1S.
The Cow Shed sleeps 6 in 3 rooms 2D, 1T.
Stable and Dove Cottage both sleep 4 in 2 rooms.
- **Linen:** All bedding and towels included except for cot bed linen.
- **Bathrooms:** Main: Two bathrooms with roll top baths & a shower room.
The Cow Shed: 1 bathroom, 1 shower room, separate toilet.
Stable & Dove Cot: 1 bathroom each.
- **Children's Facilities:** Children very welcome and cots are available.
- **Outdoor:** Set in own grounds with barbecue areas, fire pits and garden furniture.
- **Swimming Pool:** 28 x14 foot indoor heated swimming pool ideal for large family groups.
- **Parking:** There is ample parking.
- **Smoking:** Smoking outside only.
