This family holiday house on the west coast of Anglesey is in the delightful little village of Aberffraw and within walking distance of a sandy beach and a pub. The house is perfectly set up for multi generational family weekends and getting together with old friends for a landmark celebration, as well as keen walkers and cyclists who want to experience the Wales Coastal Path. And Eryri (Snowdon) is a little over an hour away for those wanting to accept the challenge of the national park peaks. We understand that your dogs are part of the family too, so bring them along to share in the fun.
The spacious entrance hall is a prelude of what's to come with large reception rooms off, made for socialising and enjoying each other's company. The kitchen is well equipped and includes a range cooker and a dishwasher. A separate utility room is a handy addition. Once the food is ready, settle down at the long dining table and enjoy a feast together, perhaps for a celebration of just an opportunity to catch up. 2 sitting rooms work well for a mixed age group, the large lounge providing a space where everyone can relax, and a smaller one where the youngsters can gather to watch a film. The private garden and patio has seating and a hot tub, ideal for drinks outdoors and stargazing after sun down.
The 8 generous bedrooms spread across 2 floors offer doubles, twins, bunks and a family room, smartly decorated with luxury bed linen and fluffy towels. All of the rooms also have wall mounted TVs. 4 of the en suites have baths and there are 2 shower rooms on the 2nd floor, all modern facilities with plenty of space.
Llywelyn Fawr is a fantastic base for exploring this glorious part of North Wales with beach gems such as Rhosneigr and Traeth Mawr within very easy reach. Cross over the impressive Menai Suspension Bridge and in 45 minutes the castle town of Caernarfon beckons, with narrow winding streets to explore and the new waterfront development.
