## About The Property

Low Costa Mill is a group of 7 cottages sleeping between 2-8 guests each, total 33 guests. A beautiful indoor heated swimming pool and toddler pool is situated in the courtyard alongside the cottages and gardens. Open all year including Christmas and New Year.

Heron View sleeps 8 (+ 1)

The cottages can be booked individually, or any combination, to exclusive use of the whole site. This peaceful and tranquil location is ideal for family celebrations and reunions, special occasions, a getaway with friends, or a family holiday - an ideal rural retreat. Sorry - not suitable for large single sex group.

Nestled in a glorious corner of North Yorkshire, Low Costa Mill is set in a peaceful haven on the outskirts of Pickering. Grouped around and adjacent to the Low Costa Mill farmhouse, the 7 cottages have been skilfully and sympathetically adapted from former farm and mill buildings. Set around a central courtyard, many of the cottages have wonderful original features, such as beams, exposed stone walls and brickwork. The living room of Heron View can comfortably accommodate 14 for dining and socialising together.

An ideal base for families, small groups, couples, or anyone who appreciates the peace and tranquillity of the countryside. Ideally located for exploring the North York Moors, the Yorkshire coast, York and our local market towns.

Dave and Tracy, the resident owners, occupy the original farmhouse and are always on hand for help and advice. We will provide cots, high chairs and stairgates and will do our utmost to ensure your stay is enjoyable.

The cottages benefit from being set in 10 acres of gardens and woodland. Secure storage and bike maintenance facilities available for use. A large lawn provides an area for relaxing, as well as ample space for family games, plus giant snakes and ladders, hopscotch or draughts. A climbing frame, swings and garden toys should keep the children entertained allowing the adults to sit back and relax.

## Facilities

- **Dog Friendly:** Upto 2 well behaved and house trained dogs by arrangement in most cottages. We have our own fully enclosed paddock for exercise. Supplement applies
- **Accessibility:** Carters is on ground floor only with level access. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.
- **WiFi:** Free of charge, site-wide super high speed Fibre Wi-Fi network.
- **Kitchen:** Each cottage has its own fully fitted kitchen with oven, hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, most with dishwashers and all with ample utensils & crockery.
- **Dining Room:** Full dining facilities in all cottages. In Heron View, we can add a further table so 14 can eat together. Plus outside seating in the cottage gardens
- **Sitting Room:** Spacious open plan living with ample comfortable seating, suitable for the number of people who can sleep in the cottage
- **TV and Music Facilities:** Each lounge contains a TV with built in Freeview, a DVD / Blu-ray player, and a DAB radio. Some TVs are smart, others have a ROKU stick.
- **Games Room:** There is no games room. We have a lawn for ball games, plus garden draughts, snakes ladders, hopscotch, plus a selection of board games & jigsaws.
- **Heating and Open Fires:** Suitable for all seasons, all cottages have full electric heating. All except Thresher Cottage have an open fire (logs included in price).
- **Bedrooms:** Well proportioned bedroom sizes with storage, king, double or twin, some zip link. Options of cots or extra fold out beds available (under 11s only).
- **Linen:** We provide good quality crisp white linen and towels free of charge (except cot linen). Beds made up ready for arrival.
- **Bathrooms:** Well fitted, clean bathroom facilities in all cottages. Larger properties have second bathroom/WC facility.
- **Children's Facilities:** Cots, high chairs and stair gates available at no extra charge. Large range of books, games & jigsaws available to borrow. Large play area & sandpit.
- **Outdoor:** Gardens, ample outdoor seating, barbeque facilities. Play area with climbing frames, swings, slides, treehouse, undercover sandpit & large lawn.
- **Swimming Pool:** Two indoor heated swimming pools (one a shallow toddler pool) with toilet & changing facilities available, for guest use only
- **Parking:** There is ample free off street parking on site.
- **Smoking:** Strictly no smoking inside all cottages and communal areas.
- **Electric Vehicle Charging:** Type 2 7kw EV charger on-site (charges apply)
