Lower Larkworthy is a group of dog friendly family holiday cottages near Holsworthy, located on a working farm and the perfect choice for friends and family groups exploring this lovely area.
The Farmhouse is the larger property and a great choice for 2 families, with Meadow View and Copse View, 2 semi detached barn conversions, ideal for extending the party and providing grandparents or youngsters with a little extra privacy. Lower Larkworthy is a wonderful venue for getting everyone together to celebrate a big birthday or anniversary. And all 3 properties are dog friendly too.
Living spaces are comfortable and warm with well equipped kitchens and dining for the number of guests. The Farmhouse seats 12 at a long sociable table made for catching up and long dinners, while the lounge has plenty of relaxed seating and Smart TV, plus wood burners. Copse View and Meadow View offer attractive open plan living with vaulted ceilings and French doors to the outside. There is lots of garden and lawn space for a family barbecue and patios with picnic benches at the smaller houses too.
A choice of kings, twin and bunk room in the Farmhouse works for a mixed age range. The other cottages have doubles and all bedrooms are en suite. Bathrooms are smart and stylish throughout.
Ashwater is a pretty little village within walking distance of Lower Larkworthy and with a good village pub. Beaworthy is a great starting point for a number of walking routes to Devon gems including Puddleduck Valley and Clovelly. Dartmoor is within easy reach for avid hikers, cyclists and wildlife enthusiasts. For a day at the seaside, Bude and Widemouth Bay are popular resorts with stunning beaches and family attractions. Launceston is a short drive away with a historic castle and adventure parks including The Big Sheep and The Milky Way, ideal for a family day out.
