This lovely Lake District holiday house is great for multi generation families and friends getting together for a holiday or to celebrate a special occasion in stunning Cumbrian countryside. Small corporate groups can also use the house for teambuilding and future planning. Welcome pack provided (and for dogs), as well as OS maps centred on Lowfield.

Overlooking Little Langdale and Lingmoor and Wrynose Pass, Lowfield House is a tranquil luxury retreat set in pretty gardens with inside and outside living areas and a canopied hot tub. The house welcomes up to 2 well behaved dogs (if very large, or more than 2, please ask).

This 4 storey family holiday home is well equipped to cater for a mixed group. The light filled entrance hall leads to an open plan living area, where the kitchen is set up to cook for large numbers and the dining table seats the whole group. Relax in the main lounge on the first floor next to the living flame fire and take in glorious views. Or head to the ground floor family room with French door access to the rear garden, and floor to ceiling windows capitalising on the stunning backdrop. The youngsters can escape to the snug upstairs.

The wrap around patio is perfect for enjoying the sun over a coffee or a drink before dinner. Relax in the luxury of the hot tub while the children and dogs let off steam. There's an outdoor sofa and sun loungers on the terrace, or fire up the barbecue, with a cold beer in hand, for an al fresco feast.

All bedrooms are en suite. The 2 super kings, a king and 2 twins with doubles are spacious and stylish, 2 with Juliet balconies and colourful soft furnishings. Bathrooms have either large walk in showers or freestanding baths.

Seasoned walkers and those who simply want a stroll can amble through the valley with circular walks aplenty from the door. Hardknott Roman Fort and Rydal Mount Gardens are quickly accessible as is the Honsiter Slate Mine which offers tours. Ambleside is worth a visit, or head to Windermere, England's largest natural lake. Choose from a huge range of outdoor activities, cultural sites or spa days - something for everyone. And there's a wide choice of fantastic eateries to discover.
