Set within 8 wonderful acres of Dartmouth countryside, Ludbrook Manor is an impressive property complete with period features, high ceilings, chandeliers and picture windows while also benefitting from the best of modern conveniences to guarantee a luxurious stay. The house has an impressive entrance hallway, somewhere to leave wet coats and walking boots to dry off courtesy of a warming open fire. Living areas are spacious, with a large fully equipped kitchen for cooking together as well as an extra butlers' kitchen for overflow. The whole group can sit down at the huge dining table made for long sociable dinners and celebrations, with a wood burner for added ambience. Retire to the drawing room after dinner or opt for the sitting room to watch a movie.
Step through from the drawing room into the indoor pool area, an inviting area offering loungers, Japanese pond views, a bar area and comfy sofas. The terrace houses the hot tub and, if hiring The Stables too, enquire about a second Jacuzzi. The tennis court is close to the house and there are any number of outdoor games for the group to enjoy. The games room is near the pool for family fun and competition.
Bedrooms are a mix of super kings, kings, twins, 4 poster and emperor, working well for a diverse age group. A ground floor room in the main house and one in The Stables are handy for any guest who prefers not to do stairs. All bedrooms are en suite and some have freestanding baths.
Venture to the nearby villages of Ermington or Modbury for a pub lunch or visit the charming and picturesque town of Ivybridge. Avid walkers will no doubt head to Dartmoor or the nearby coastal path and beaches including Dartmouth, Looe and Salcombe.
