Glamping site near Ross-on-Wye sleeping 24, perfect for group bookings; family reunions, hen parties, birthday celebrations or weekends with friends. 5 lovingly restored vintage vans, each with unique character and charming period details: Monty sleeps family of 4 - ex military wagon with private decking area for watching the sunset. King and Queen double bunk, logburner Gertie sleeps family of 4 - the grande dame dating from the 30s. 2 regular caravan doubles, logburner Sybil sleeps family of 4/5 - handmade in the 40s by a carpenter for his family. 2 regular caravan doubles & hammock bed for small child, logburner Elsie sleeps 2 in generous double bed - radiator to keep the chill out Darcy - large single & bench bed - perfect for 1 or a parent & child Lotus belle tent - overflow accommodation for family of 4 with double futon bed, single iron bed & camp bed or cot The Hayloft holiday cottage sleeps 6 in 2 doubles & a twin - can be added on for larger/multigenerational groups or groups wanting to spread out Vans are thoughtfully spaced to ensure privacy All vans have blankets, quilts and hot water bottles to ensure guests are cosy at night. A camp gas stove is provided in each van to boil the kettle for tea/coffee and there's a coolbox to store perishables. Each van has outside seating, a fire bowl and grill for cooking. In the copse with its dappled sunlight you'll find our stunning Summer Kitchen dining hall, campfire circle and showershack. Home cooked food to order using fresh ingredients from the garden: one pot dinners, brunches and 3 course fine dining menus starting with canapes on the terrace of The Old Rectory. The Summer Kitchen table can seat up to 20 with candles, fairy lights and a logburner that make for a magical, warm atmosphere. Small on-site deli selling local produce and campfire woodstore located in the car park. Here you will also find a fridge and freezer. Massages, facials and pampering treatments can be booked in advance with our holistic therapist. Tennis court for guests to use. Close to the River Wye and Forest of Dean with their wealth of outdoor activities. ## Facilities - **Dog Friendly:** Well behaved dogs up to max of 2 allowed by prior permission. - **Accessibility:** No specific facilities. - **Hot Tub:** The Hayloft has a six person hot tub. - **WiFi:** Groups taking the Hayloft as well as the glampsite will have WiFi facilities. - **Kitchen:** Summer Kitchen with 2 ring gas hob. All crockery and cooking equipment provided. Campfire for open fire cooking. Vans also have fire bowls. - **Dining Room:** Summer Kitchen table can seat parties up to 20. Atmospheric and unique space with floor to ceiling glass facing west. Ideal for candlelit dinners. - **Sitting Room:** Get together in Summer Kitchen. Hayloft holiday cottage mixes original timbers, upcycled materials, contemporary design - sitting room with TV & WiFi. - **TV and Music Facilities:** Off grid but large groups may choose to add on The Hayloft which has a TV. Glampsite groups may choose to hire silent disco equipment. - **Heating and Open Fires:** Logburners in the family vans, the smaller vans have radiators. Logburners in the Summer Kitchen and The Hayloft. Big campfire circle in glampsite. - **Bedrooms:** Glampsite: 3 family vans (up to 4), 2 small vans and lotus belle tent (sleeps up to 4). Hayloft can be added on (sleeps 6): 2 doubles, 1 twin room. - **Linen:** All linen provided. Glampers need to bring their own towels. - **Bathrooms:** Glampsite: shower with 24 hour hot water. 2 toilets - 1 flushing, 1 composting. Hayloft: 1 bathroom, 1 shower room, both have toilets. - **Children's Facilities:** Cot and high chair available by request. - **Outdoor:** All the glampsite facilities are situated in a meadow and copse with mature trees. Fire bowls, grills and outside seating.Tyre swing and tennis court. - **Parking:** Private parking for the glampsite: up to 8 cars.
