Originally the gardener's quarters of The Grangemuir Estate, our lodgings have been thoughtfully refurbished to blend historical charm with modern luxury.  Easily accessible yet beautifully secluded, Madeira is just 90 mins from Edinburgh, 25 mins from the airport, and 20 mins from St Andrews. Nearby stations (Leuchars, Cupar, Leven) and direct London trains make travel simple for guests. Madeira is perfectly placed to enjoy everything the East Neuk has to offer, from coastal walks, wild swimming and beach saunas, to golfing, water sports, great food and lively local pubs in charming nearby fishing villages. Madeira often hosts wild dining and other special events onsite. Each cottage features a sofa bed, allowing us to accommodate up to 36 guests across the site. We offer 12 individual rooms, 10 with en-suite facilities, ensuring privacy and comfort for all guests. Nestled in the canopy with stunning views towards the Firth of Forth, the newly built treehouses offer a unique and tranquil retreat, each with a private hot tub on the deck. They feature: Fully equipped living room and kitchen, complete with a small table for dining or working Powerful, hot showers thanks to mains and gas connection Mezzanine level with king-sized bed and electric blinds, offering a wonderful morning view Bath or hot tub on the deck Loungers and bistro table for relaxing or evening drinks The Tree Houses are ideal for romantic retreats, relaxing getaways or a peaceful working environment. Important Information: Suitable for guests aged 12 and over Unfortunately, due to design constraints, dogs are not allowed in the Tree Houses. However, we welcome them in our cottages ## Facilities - **Dog Friendly:** Pets are accepted and we have a pet policy. Please ask if you wish to bring pets. - **Accessibility:** All cottages are ground floor and we can provide some aids for disabled guests; however its best to discuss your requirements with Tara. - **Hot Tub:** We have 3 x 6 person hot tubs on site, a 4 person and a 2 person as well - **WiFi:** Free WiFi available. - **Kitchen:** Each terraced cottage has a fully equipped kitchen. The Gardeners Cottage has a large spacious kitchen/dining/sitting area. 16 can sit for dinner. - **Dining Room:** Tables in each cottage allow the capacity of that cottage to sit down and eat. If a larger group wants to eat together The Bothy is very versatile. - **Sitting Room:** All cottages have their own sitting rooms and the Gardeners Cottage has a sitting room and a sunroom with additional seating. - **TV and Music Facilities:** All cottages have their own TV. - **Games Room:** There is a games room with pool, darts and board games. Must be booked as an event space subject to availability; a fee is required. - **Heating and Open Fires:** Central heating throughout all cottages. The Gardeners Cottage has a wood burning stove as does the Games Room and The Bothy. - **Bedrooms:** 3 bedrooms in the large cottage (2 double/twin) and 1 triple bunk. Each small cottage has 1 bedroom with twin/double bed. Sofa bed in each cottage. - **Linen:** All linen and towels are hotel quality and are provided free of charge. If you require a change during your stay we can do that for a minimal fee. - **Bathrooms:** En suite shower room and a family bathroom with shower in Gardeners Cottage, the other cottages have en suites with either a shower or shower/bath. - **Children's Facilities:** There are very large gardens to roam in and some rope swings and woods to play in.
