It has been lovingly renovated - now with all the comforts and luxuries of the 20th century whilst retaining its Tudor origins and character. Perfect for gathering together with family and friends for holiday times. The Tudor Manor house was built around 1525 and exudes a wonderful family atmosphere with its eccentric vintage styling, open fires, and high ceilings. Its main 5 large bedrooms are on the 1st floor with an extra on the ground floor if needed. There is masses of downstairs space, a huge kitchen /dining area and a cosy TV room. Outside, the atmosphere is peaceful and charming. There are extensive gardens and outbuildings filled with vintage charm, plus a Grade I listed church next door, the perfect backdrop for a garden gathering or even a Wedding ! (yes - please enquire about weddings). Magnolia Manor is built for love and romance and has been home to happy times, laughter and shared delight for over 500 years. Being perfectly placed just off the M5, Magnolia Manor is in a great position to access all the cultural delights of nearby Bristol and Somerset. Portishead itself has a thriving high street just a 2 minute walk away, as well as beautiful lake grounds, the stunning marina and nearby coastal walks. The area is famed for its glorious setting suns and also for having the closest shipping lane to land in the whole of the UK! ( as well as the second fastest/highest tide in the world) - so a 'must' for nautical lovers! There are numerous pubs and eateries, a stunning marina, an open-air pool just minutes away for the family, a fabulous selection of supermarkets (inc the best Waitrose!), and for serious consumers, the major shopping centre of Cribbs Causeway lies within easy reach. Plus 'The Wave', an exciting surfing facility just a few miles up the road. Stepping through a once-secret door, the small medieval manor may also be booked if your group needs the extra space, it was built in the 1300s and has 3 bedrooms and en-suite bedrooms. (This little manor may be booked on its own for a reduced price).  ## Facilities - **Dog Friendly:** Well behaved pets are welcome. - **Accessibility:** Due to the age of the buildings, sadly we are unable to offer accessible bedrooms. The ground floor is accessible for visitors with a downstairs loo. - **Hot Tub:** Hot tub available. - **WiFi:** There is good mobile reception and free fast WiFi throughout the house. - **Kitchen:** Guests can use the large kitchen diner, with Range cooker, dishwasher, washer and dryer, fridge/freezer, Nespresso, and all sit together to eat. - **Dining Room:** A choice of the kitchen dining room or formal dining room next door to the lounge with an open fire, so plenty of seating for the whole family. - **Sitting Room:** The lounge has a wood burner and comfortable sofas which leads into the playroom, off the kitchen is the snug with more sofas and a 60 inch TV. - **TV and Music Facilities:** There is a 60 inch TV, (plus another in the attic if the family want different films) with Netflix etc, a DVD player, radio, and bluetooth speakers. - **Games Room:** Games room has pool and table tennis. There's a music room, with LPs and a record dec. - **Heating and Open Fires:** Gas central heating and a wood burner. - **Bedrooms:** 5 large bedrooms, (plus 3 more with en suites in the little manor if rented as an extra) - 4.5 bathrooms in Magnolia Manor. - **Linen:** Bed linen and towels are included, plus a welcome basket and kitchen basics. - **Bathrooms:** There are 3 en suite bathrooms and a family bathroom, plus a downstairs WC. 4.5 altogether. - **Children's Facilities:** No specific facilities for children. The stair is too wide for a stair gate.
