Maidensea has a fully equipped kitchen with modern appliances and is perfect for preparing group meals. Alternatively the owners can assist with finding a private chef or providing other catering options. The Thatched Tavern, voted the best pub in Devon, is a short walk away, another sociable option at the end of a long day’s creative thinking.
Several bedrooms can be configured as twins, offering flexibility for your group. The whole of the ground floor is wheelchair accessible and includes a double or twin room with en suite wet room for anyone less mobile.
Close proximity to local beaches makes Maidensea a great choice for paddleboarding, kayaking or coasteering to enhance working relationships and have some fun. The South West Coastal Path is also on the doorstep and it’s just a 5 minute stroll to Maidencombe Cove. Longer walks along the coastal path lead to Shaldon and the ferry to Teignmouth. Torquay is around 15 minutes away, known as a foodie town and well worth a wander.
