Manor Farm, built in 1855, offers a beautiful Victorian getaway location, perfect for family and friends getting together or 'hobby' groups who share a common activity. At Manor Farm you will be spoilt with space, lavishness and an experience to remember. Large gardens, an 8 seated hot tub and table tennis are just some of the facilities on offer here. Plus there's the infamous 'Man Cave' with a full size snooker table, darts board, ping pong table and bar area - fun for the whole group!
In the quaint village of Oldcotes, Nottinghamshire, Manor Farm is a few miles from Tickhill, Bawtry and Blyth. A Brewers Fayre pub is just a five minute walk up the road with a play area for children and a good range of pub food. Tickhill and Bawtry offer various restaurants, bars, coffee shops and boutique shopping. There are a number of golf courses nearby and great rambling locations.
Manor Farm is quirky and quintessentially English, with comfort and character. The grand entrance hall sets the scene for this large Victorian home. There are 3 reception rooms; a dining room which seats up to 16 guests, a large dining kitchen, a lounge with a huge open fireplace plus a further sitting room. If you like history, we encourage our guests to look at some of the fine examples of Victorian farm buildings set around the large courtyard.
The orchard provides a superb picnic and barbecue area and an outdoor climbing frame and swings are on the front lawn. We request that children are supervised as we cannot accept any responsibility for injuries. The property and grounds are exclusively yours with the owners personally on hand so you don't need to worry about a thing except enjoying your stay.
There are some superb local attractions; Yorkshire Wildlife Park, Sundown Adventure Land, Sherwood Pines, Whitepost Farm and Hodsock Priory. Further afield you can spend the day in the Peak District, York, Harrogate and Leeds.
