Past experience has shown us that happy children make for happy and relaxed parents. In our house children will be kept busy with a great selection of books, games, DVDs and a pool table. There is also outside games of croquet, tennis table, under cover football table, swing ball and more, so no excuse for being bored.
There is plenty to occupy the adults. Laze in the squishy sofas around the wood-burning stove in the living room or in the Aga-warmed kitchen. Enjoy a leisurely lunch on the sunny terrace overlooking the beautiful grounds and dovecote. Sip a glass of wine in one of the cosy secluded spots in the garden. Enjoy a lie-in in a 4-poster bed with luxury cotton bedding and goose-down duvets and pillows.
And if you can't face the prospect of cooking, why not use the service of one of our recommended caterers or de-camp across the road to either of the 2 public houses in the village - both of which serve home-cooked food - or the local tea room for a tasty cream tea.
The Manor House is situated in the centre of the peaceful village of Eardisland and has near neighbours. It is therefore not a suitable location for loud parties and/or amplified music but perfect for relaxing and enjoying this quintessentially English village.
Eardisland is part of the Black and White Trail, developed to encourage visitors to the beautiful countryside between Leominster and Kington. The Manor is also within a short distance of Ludlow, an historic medieval market town great for castles, food and festivals, as well as Hay on Wye, world renowned for books and bookshops.
