The house is located in the traditional seaside town of Ilfracombe on the North Devon coast, close to the South West Coastal Path. Park up at Marine Court and leave the car behind when exploring the range of quirky souvenir shops, galleries and harbour side eateries. Watch the boats come in and buy freshly caught fish for a delicious supper, or climb up to St Nicholas Chapel housing England's oldest lighthouse. Be inspired by Damien Hirst’s 20m bronze statue ‘Verity’ at the harbour entrance. All this a 15 minute stroll from the property.

The Tunnels Beach in Ilfracombe is a must see and the perfect place to build sandcastles and discover rock pools. Regular boat rides leave from Ilfracombe harbour to nearby Lundy Island or go snorkeling around the small coves and spy some native seals. For the more energetic there are plenty of opportunities to have fun and enjoy water sports including paddle boarding, kayaking and deep sea fishing. Slightly further afield are Lynton and Lynmouth, a 30 minute drive, to experience the highest and steepest water powered funicular railway in the world. Pretty villages such as Combe Martin, Braunton and Muddiford are also worth a look when exploring this popular area.

Marine Court is very well set up for family and friends gatherings with a commercial kitchen to prepare large meals and inside dining for 20 guests. For a special celebration why not ask the owner about outside caterers who will come in and do it for you. The lounge is a really sociable space with its own bar, stools and drinks fridge. The outside south facing terrace is a great spot for enjoying a coffee and nearby coves are perfect for a bbq or picnic. The games room is perfect for the youngsters to congregate and enjoy a game on the new pool table or electronic dart board.

Accommodation provides a choice of doubles, kings and family bedrooms, all with en suite facilities. The rooms are modern and tastefully decorated with luxury soft furnishings and a TV. Some have sea views. Bathrooms are contemporary with tasteful fixtures and fittings.

A provisional booking will be held for 7 days. A deposit is required to secure it. Saturday is weekly changeover day and during peak times only week long bookings accepted. Out of peak season, discounted rates available for limited occupancy (up to 10 people) and short breaks.

The property is just a 10 minute walk to the harbour and coastal town of Ilfracombe with lots of attractions and beaches. The award winning beach at Woolacombe is a 10 minute drive.

Ilfracombe is the perfect base to access the beautiful North Devon coast including Lynton and Lynmouth, Combe Martin, Lee and Hele bay, as well as award winning beaches at Woolacombe and Croyde
The bustling seaside town and harbour of Ilfracombe is a 10 minute walk from Marine Court.
Ilfracombe has Tesco, Lidl and Co-op supermarkets, all a short drive from the house. Convenience stores are walkable on the High Street or by the harbour.
The historic Thatched Inn pub is across the road, and a variety of pubs, restaurants and cafes are dotted around Ilfracombe town and harbour, all within walking distance.
Exeter Airport is 1.5 hours from Marine Court.
Barnstaple is the nearest railway station, just over 20 minutes away.
There are regular local buses including the open-top Exmoor Coaster.
