Whether you are sitting by our cosy log burner in the Prioresses House or dining together in our Refectory, you will definitely soak up our unique and special atmosphere. The Priory is a catered venue, although there is a kitchenette available for making hot drinks. Sing along together in our very own 19th century Chapel or under the stars around the campfire. Play pool in our Games Area or explore our 12th century ruins, the choice is yours! With a drying room and bike storage facilities, the Priory is an ideal venue for walkers as it sits on the newly designated Coast to Coast Path, and also for cyclists, as Swaledale is the home of the Ard Rock and the Swale Trail. As an outdoor centre, the Priory also has access to a climbing wall, archery shelter, high ropes course and abseiling tower for those keen on a challenge! A10 minutes drive away (or 30 minute walk) is the village of Reeth with its numerous pubs, shops and cafes. The town of Richmond with its medieval castle, museum, and branded supermarkets is only 20 minutes drive away. Over the Moor is Wensleydale with the towns of Leyburn and Hawes (the latter with the infamous Wensleydale cheese!). ## Facilities - **Dog Friendly:** We regret that dogs are not allowed at Marrick Priory. - **Accessibility:** The downstairs rooms are all accessible and there is an accessible bedroom and en suite shower room and wc on the ground floor. - **WiFi:** WiFi is available throughout the building. - **Bedrooms:** There are two large dormitories and six smaller bedrooms. - **Parking:** Parking is available outside the main gates at the Priory.
