Masia Notari is located in a pretty rural setting, just far enough out of the hustle and bustle to make the most of peace and tranquility. The inside living accommodation is spacious and sociable, with many parts heated or air conditioned. The Bodega dates from the 15th century, air conditioned and a fantastic room for everyone to gather perhaps for a drinks reception. There are 2 large conference rooms, ideal for business groups with IT facilities but equally suitable as function rooms for hosting an event or a small wedding. Ask about catering options too. The Chill Out Room can also be used for activities by local providers including Yoga or Pilates, a lovely room with a wall of glass doors opening onto the courtyard and allowing the fresh air in.
The main highlight at Masia Notari is the fantastic 16 metre saline swimming pool where everyone heads to for fun in the sun and to cool off. There are plenty of loungers on the sun terrace, as well as shaded areas for al fresco meals and drinks. A total of 5 garden seating areas offer choice and privacy for anyone hoping to find a hidden corner for a quiet coffee and conversation.
The 25 traditional Catalan bedrooms are across 3 floors and a combination of doubles, twins and a single. 14 have air conditioning. Ground floor rooms are handy for anyone less mobile, all en suite and many with direct access to outside seating areas.
If you can tear yourself away from the house, Vilanova is just a 5 minute drive for a sandy beach and a wide range of watersports, cafes, bars and fresh fish eateries. Sitges is a short drive and a lovely place to visit, known for its mansion lined promenade, old town and pretty marina as well as great beaches.
