Dear traveller, we would love to host you and your guests for an incredible gathering at McArthur Manor.
We do offer all kinds of services for our customers. You can pick from a great range of options for catering: breakfast, lunch, dinner, party food, and formal dinners. We also offer lots of options for entertainment and activities to plan your stay in detail, letting you enjoy your time with your guests without having to worry about any logistics and creating a unique, fun experience and great memories during your stay.

The best way to go through everything is by having a quick chat to discuss what you're looking for exactly, and what we have to offer. Sleeping 33, with 15 bedrooms available, each with its own bathroom:
4x superking four poster rooms
1x cottage flat with a separate lounge
2x family rooms with superking + 2 Singles (or) 4x singles
6x zip and link beds that can be arranged as twins (or) superking
1x double bedroom
1x single bedroom
There are additional Z-beds and travel cots available for children under 12 years old. When all beds are split into singles where possible we can sleep 26 guests in their own beds.

Modern facilities:
- Commercial WiFi gear throughout
- Integrated sound system in the downstairs of the house, connection via bluetooth
- PA system for great bass music in the function room
- Commercial kitchen for preparing food on a large scale
- New bathrooms with walk-in showers (two en-suites have baths)

Facilities

WiFi

WiFi is exceptional. Commercial set-up with every room having a hub, you can walk through building and will connect automatically to strongest signal.

Disabled Facilities

Wheelchair available for guest use, portable ramp, handrails in ladies and gents toilets.

Pets

Pets are allowed at the property. Disclosure of pets must be made upon booking.

Kitchen

Large kitchen: dishwasher, glass-washer, 2 pizza ovens, 2 large fryers, steam oven, 6 ring burner, gas oven, 2 microwaves, washer and dryer.

Dining Room

2 dining rooms, both can seat up to 32 people, both have open fires. The beautiful function room can seat up to 100 people for an event dinner party.

Sitting Room

Period room with triple height ceiling, grand piano, Chesterfield sofa set, gramophone, wonderful decorations, big open fire and 50" TV, sound system.

TV and Music Facilities

A music system is wired throughout the downstairs of house in the halls and common areas. There is a 50" TV for films and presentations in lounge.

Games Room

Games room is set up with table tennis and English pool as standard. Further rental entertainment items are available.

Heating and Open Fires

A new heating system was installed in Nov 2018. All radiators have thermostatic valves. There are 4 open fires as well a large wood-burning stove.

Bedrooms

15 en-suite bedrooms for guests. 3 four-poster superking beds + flexible mix of zip link, double and single beds.

Linen

Beds are made up with bedding according to your bedroom setup request. Towels are provided (hand and bath towels) for each guest.

Bathrooms

Each bedroom has its own bathroom facilities, so no sharing. Mainly showers, 2 baths. Additional Ladies and Gents facilities on the ground floor.

Children's Facilities

High chair and travel cot + fold up 'Z' beds are available. Family friendly DVDs and games are provided.

Outdoor

The Courtyard is a special spot and there is a large front garden with a patio, BBQ and lots of seating.

Swimming Pool

Local swimming pool is a 8-10 minute walk from the Manor.

Parking

Parking for up to 20 cars on site.

Smoking

Smoking is not permitted inside the property. Underneath the Dovecote in courtyard and the Summer House at the front are designated smoking areas.

Christmas, 24th of December 2023, is available. This historic Georgian Country Manor is professionally decorated for Xmas each year and your festive stay with us will not disappoint.

New Year 2023/24

New Year week, from the 28th of December to the 5th of January 2024 is available. This historic Georgian Country Manor is professionally decorated for the festive period each year.

Location

This private estate is only 10 minutes walk into the town which has a large Tesco supermarket. 30 minutes drive from Perth or Dundee and 1.15 hours from Edinburgh.

Local bus station in town centre is a 10 minute walk.
Perth train station is the closest place with good links. It takes 25 minutes to drive there from the Manor.
Blairgowrie town centre is close to the property. All local services are adequate and it is very convenient having these at your doorstep.
Co-operative convenience store is a 5 minute walk along the main road.
We serve meals upon request at the property. The town centre of Blairgowrie also has many eateries, cafes and pubs.
Dundee airport is 30 minutes drive. Edinburgh airport is 1 hour 15 minute drive.
