Completely renovated in 2019-2021. Georgian McArthur Manor can be all yours for small or large groups, on an excluisve use self-catering basis, or our team can provide hospitality services for you. For international travellers, we can plan an itinerary for you - arrange coach transport for airport pick-up and drop off, excursions, entertainment and catering on a full or selective basis.

Sleeping 36 adults and up to 4 children in fold-up 'Z' beds, 18 bedrooms are available, each with its own bathroom: 1 twin room, 2 single rooms, 4 doubles, 2 family rooms with a super-king bed plus single and 9 rooms with a super-king bed alone. Most of the super-king beds however can be split into a twin arrangement, so you can decide what room setup is best to suit your guests.

The courtyard is a lovely enclosed space. It is sheltered from the wind and becomes a fantastic sun trap with its white reflective walls. This area is great for a BBQ, pets or even setting up a hot-tub.

There is a large dining room capable of seating up to 32, and the breakfast room also seats 32. Both rooms have a fireplace. Relax in the bar and pull your own pints of beer, or the grand lounge with a 50" TV with additional surround sound system, fireplace, grand piano and Chesterfield sofas.

The games room is a unique space, with 18x 7' windows, oak panelling and a lovely hardwood floor. With a table tennis table and pool table provided, you may also hire a massive indoor 16x16' adult safe bouncy castle or sumo wrestling padded suits for a great bit of entertainment. There are also 4000 curtain fairy lights surrounding the room and it comes with DJ equipment and disco lighting. We can set this space up for a formal meal or wedding reception with silver service dining capacity for up to 100 guests. A themed party can be arranged for 150 guests.

Large kitchen: dishwasher, glass-washer, 2 pizza ovens, 2 large fryers, steam oven, 6 ring burner, gas oven, 2 microwaves, washer and dryer.
2 dining rooms, both can seat up to 32 people, both have open fires. The beautiful function room can seat up to 100 people for an event dinner party.
Period room with triple height ceiling, grand piano, Chesterfield sofa set, gramophone, wonderful decorations, big open fire and 50" TV, sound system.
A music system is wired throughout the downstairs of house in the halls and common areas. There is a 50" TV for films and presentations in lounge.
WiFi is exceptional. Commercial set-up with every room having a hub, you can walk through building and will connect automatically to strongest signal.
Games room is set up with table tennis and English pool as standard. Further rental entertainment items are available.
A new heating system was installed in Nov 2018. All radiators have thermostatic valves. There are 4 open fires as well a large wood-burning stove.
18 en-suite bedrooms for guests. 3x four-poster superking beds + flexible mix of zip link, double and single beds.
Beds are made up with bedding according to your bedroom setup request. Towels are provided (hand and bath towels) for each guest.
Each bedroom has its own bathroom facilities, so no sharing. Mainly showers, 2 baths. Additional Ladies and Gents facilities on the ground floor.
Wheelchair available for guest use, portable ramp, handrails in ladies and gents toilets.
High chair and travel cot + fold up 'Z' beds are available. Family friendly DVDs and games are provided.
The Courtyard is a special spot and there is a large front garden with a patio, BBQ and lots of seating.
Local swimming pool is a 8-10 minute walk from the Manor.
Parking for up to 40 cars on site.
Smoking is not permitted inside the property. Underneath the Dovecote in courtyard and the Summer House at the front are designated smoking areas.
Pets are allowed at the property. Disclosure of pets must be made upon booking.


This private estate is only 10 minutes walk into the town which has a large Tesco supermarket. 30 minutes drive from Perth or Dundee and 1.15 hours from Edinburgh.
Blairgowrie town centre is close to the property. All local services are adequate and it is very convenient having these at your doorstep.
Co-operative convenience store is a 5 minute walk along the main road.
We serve meals upon request at the property. The town centre of Blairgowrie also has many eateries, cafes and pubs.

Local bus station in town centre is a 10 minute walk.
Dundee airport is 30 minutes drive. Edinburgh airport is 1 hour 15 minute drive.
