Each self-catering accommodation can be booked either alone or in conjunction with the other properties, for family and friends, weekend parties, The Hay Festival, reunions, anniversaries. The nearest town is Hay-on-Wye, famous for its annual literary festival and book shops, and the Brecon Beacons National Park, with a wide range of outdoor activities available, is just a few miles away.

The Medieval Barn has a 60ft living area complete with a roaring log fire and lots of entertainment space. This is a wonderful house for family get togethers, reunions of friends and for celebrating all types of special occasion. Outside there is a lovely walled Medieval garden where you can enjoy views of the Wye Valley and Black Mountains.

At the Great Hay Barn, guests will enjoy a state of the art kitchen, home cinema system, four-poster bed, limestone tiled bathrooms and wooden, rug-strewn floors throughout. It is a part 13th century building with an impressive dining and entertainment space for everyone, some 50-feet long and 3 storeys high. The kitchen table seats 12 for informal meals, and there are doors opening onto either extensive lawns or a sunny sheltered courtyard or a patio. The more formal dining table can accommodate large groups - it seats 18 - 22 people as standard, but if you would like to have a meal with up to 32 people seated please let us know prior to making a booking and this can be arranged.

Grooms Barn has its own handmade Shaker kitchen and eating area. The properties have been restored to an extremely high standard and enjoy beautiful views. To complete the extraordinary variety of accommodation on site, some of the corrugated iron grain silos on the edge of the old farm yard have now been converted into eccentric and contemporary circular houses. Various group sizes can be accommodated.
