You might even catch a glimpse of a barn owl returning to the nearby nesting box after a night of hunting. The Lincolnshire Wolds, Lincolnshire coast and historic Boston are just a short drive away. The barns are close to Dyson Farming’s Carrington site which is the home of their strawberry production in the 26-acre glasshouse.

Set in the heart of the Lincolnshire countryside near the Wolds AONB, Medlam Barns are close to the coast and blue flag beaches, with a number of tourist attractions and beautiful countryside easily accessed, including Gibraltar Point nature reserve and the traditional seaside resorts of Skegness, Mablethorpe and Chapel St. Leonards. Horncastle has several antiques and collectables shops to browse, as well as pubs and restaurants. Nearby RAF Coningsby WWII is home to the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, and at East Kirkby you can watch the 'Just Jane' Lancaster Bomber doing taxi runs at Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre.
