Merman Farm in Tideswell is in an outstanding location in the heart of the beautiful Peak District National Park.

Fully restored by the owner, Merman Farm offers quality accommodation of real character and charm, seamlessly combining many original features with modern design and home comforts.

Merman Farm offers a very large, comfortable lounge with several settees, a large flatscreen TV and a wood burning stove. The spacious French oak kitchen has a feature brick fireplace with a built-in gas fired Aga, and is well equipped with everything you need to cater for a large group. The kitchen has a small sitting area opposite. There is also a large, separate dining room which has a table for 10.

There are 5 bedrooms and an attic room, 3 of which have en suite facilities, plus a separate family bathroom.

Outside there is a patio area and paddock, ideal for outdoor activities.

Merman Farm is located a short drive away from many popular attractions for guests to enjoy - Bakewell, Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall the historic spa town of Buxton to name just a few, all of which are within 20 minutes of Tideswell. Nearby too is the Monsal Trail which can take you all the way off road, by foot or bicycle, from Buxton to Bakewell with lovely cafes to stop off at on the way.

A short walk from the centre of the village with its pubs, stores and restaurants. Tideswell is one of the oldest settlements in the central Peak District.

Bakewell 15 mins, Buxton 15 mins, Castleton 10 mins.
Shops and pubs in Tideswell, 4 mins walk. Tideswell has many fine country inns and excellent restaurants, a chemist, butchers, Co-op, greengrocers, bakers and much more.
The Merchant's Yard restaurant and cocktail bar where informal and fine-dining can be enjoyed. Local pubs serving real ale The George & The Star or a short walk to The Anchor or Red Lion at Litton.
