The Stables, with 4 en suite bedrooms, and the Hayloft, with 2 en suite bedrooms and an open plan bedroom have been converted to provide spacious and luxurious accommodation for special occasions and holidays. Located on a 50 acre estate in an area of outstanding natural beauty in the Weald, East Sussex, the two properties together offer over 5,500 sq ft of accommodation.

The Stables were originally built in 1870 and retain many of the original features including the stable doors and ceiling beams, whilst also providing modern comforts such as underfloor heating and stunning en suite bathrooms to every bedroom.

Approached by a scenic half mile drive through woodland which opens out to wonderful views across the fields and the lake, the properties provide the perfect peaceful setting for a special celebration. There are an array of outdoor activities which can be enjoyed during your stay including a small lake for fishing or boating, ball games/croquet on the lawn, tennis, walks, fishing and picnics on the estate, an outdoor kitchen for barbecuing, table tennis and outdoor draughts. Use of the Manor House outdoor heated swimming pool (100 yards from the Stables) April- end October (9 am -6 pm). Clay pigeon shooting on the estate can be arranged. Local caterers can be booked for a special meal.

The Great Hall is 50 ft long providing a fantastic entertaining space. It has a grand piano, sofa area with TV, dining area seating up to 16 and a 10 ft wide cinema screen with surround sound creating a home cinema experience. It is a beautiful room with oak beams, chandeliers and chestnut flooring. The underfloor heating keeps it warm in the winter months and during the summer months the French doors open out onto the courtyard.

Merrieweathers has its own private pub in a detached barn. The fully equipped bar has optics and beer pumps. Games include darts, table football, pool, bar billiards; plenty to keep the whole family entertained. There is a cinema screen in the barn so you can watch a favourite film or Sky sports in front of the log burner.
