## About The Property

Our exclusive 400 acre farm and woodlands is yours from Friday to Monday – a wedding weekend is a great way to spend time with family and friends for one of the most important events of your life.

Middle Coombe Farm has a wide range of settings for legal ceremonies, blessings and hand fastings. Choose a unique ceremony in heart of the woods, in the cider barn, or an intimate wedding in the farmhouse.

Your weekend wedding package includes self catering accommodation for up to 20 people on site in our 4 star rated, grade II* listed, 500 year old thatch farmhouse and adjacent Allensdown barn for 3 nights. Cosy wood burning stoves are in both houses and outside in the farmhouse back courtyard is a large open fireplace which is great for al fresco dining with a barbecue, toasting marshmallows, drinking mulled cider (preferably our own made on site!) and amazing star gazing. The solar heated swimming pool and outdoor hot tub are set in the beautiful box hedge garden.

Also included is the stunning thatched cider barn for your legal ceremony and evening dancing, large marquee for your wedding feast with all tables, chairs and tableware, stock-your-own bar (no corkage). We are on hand throughout the previous year to assist you in any way we can.

All this and exclusive use of 200 acres of private woodland with a beautiful site for hand fasting, blessings or speeches under the ancient oak tree. A truly magical experience, in a natural setting, deep in the forest (presently not a legal site).

Guests who have attended weddings held at Middle Coombe Farm have declared them the best weddings ever! The countryside and the whole feeling of Middle Coombe adds lightness to the event, whilst the history and grandeur of the house means that the reception is still rooted in reality and serious in the right places.

## Facilities

- **Dog Friendly:** Pets welcome. Maximum of 2 dogs. £15 per dog. Book in advance and adhere to rules due to farm.
- **Accessibility:** Downstairs only, we are able to cater for The National Accessible Scheme (NAS) mobility impairment levels of M1 & M2.
- **WiFi:** Full broadband WiFi access and a telephone are available in the farmhouse; there is also limited mobile signal.
- **Kitchen:** The farmhouse kitchen is a large, space seating 18 around the table with range master cooker and equipment. Separate kitchen in Allensdown Barn.
- **Dining Room:** Combined in the kitchen with a large table seating 18.
- **Sitting Room:** A beautiful wood paneled space with a large oak-framed window, comfy sofas and a roaring open fire. Tim Malyon photos on walls.
- **TV and Music Facilities:** TV, DVD, Freeview, Music centre with connected cable for MP3/mobile phone/portable CD players through the headphone socket and a set of iPod speakers.
- **Games Room:** Games marquee in Summer plus field with two goal posts for football and Cider Barn in Winter both contain- table tennis, pool table, table football
- **Heating and Open Fires:** Open fires, solar panelling and environmentally friendly heating. Our biomass wood boiler heats all buildings using wood from our own woodlands.
- **Bedrooms:** 10 in total. Farmhouse 7 bedrooms being double, twin and family rooms some interlinking rooms - check floor plans. Allensdown barn has 3 bedrooms.
- **Linen:** Bed linen and towels are included, though we do ask you to please supply your own baby bedding.
- **Bathrooms:** The farmhouse has 3 en-suites,1 communal bathroom and a separate toilet with sink. Allensdown Barn has 1 en-suite and 1 communal bathroom.
- **Children's Facilities:** A large outdoor play area with trapeze and willow dome. The Farmhouse library/playroom has 2 toy boxes and childrens' books. Allensdown has more toys.
- **Outdoor:** An enclosed cobbled courtyard for al fresco dinning with a massive outdoor fireplace great for star gazing, gas bbq, tables and chairs, magical space.
- **Swimming Pool:** Open May - September, outdoor solar heated pool, set inside hedged lawns and gardens, changing room, showers, outdoor hot tub open all year in garden.
- **Parking:** A spacious car park at the top of our lane parking 40+ cars/vehicles + a smaller area outside the barn and house provides space for up to 6 vehicles.
- **Smoking:** Outdoors only.
