Holiday Rental for Groups of Families and Friends. The Milking Parlour, Kilmington, Devon, sleeps 6 - 16 in 6 bedrooms.

The Milking Parlour is available all year round for self catering holidays, short and midweek breaks, hen weekends, corporate/activities and weddings or celebration parties. There is 100 acres of private countryside, woodland, fields and rivers to be explored on the farm as well as courtyards, hot tubs and barbecue areas with outdoor seating.

Bedroom 1 is situated on the ground floor, and has a light, airy feel with a large full length window with views of the courtyard and has a king-size bed. The en suite bathroom comprises a bath and separate shower.

Bedroom 2 is again situated on the ground floor, and has a very cosy feel, with a king-size bed, and en suite with a Jacuzzi bath and shower.

Bedroom 3 and 6 are our family rooms, situated on the first floor; each room has a king-size bed and two full size single beds. Each en suite has a separate bath and shower.

Bedroom 4 is the smallest of our double bedrooms, on the first floor and consists of either a double bed or twin beds. A roof light projects light into the room, and the en suite has a large bath with overhead shower.

Bedroom 5 has a large floor to ceiling window with views towards the sea, king-size bed and an en suite with bath and overhead shower.

Originally built in 1750, The Milking Parlour has been recently renovated using natural products with original techniques, incorporating modern technologies and ecologically friendly materials, such as air source pumps and solar panels and our own natural spring provides water to the barn.

Situated on the Devon/Dorset border within Hills Farm in Kilmington, a peaceful and secluded corner of East Devon. Nestled high on the hill, overlooking the picturesque Axe Valley with views of the World Heritage Site, the Jurassic Coast. There is an abundance of local seaside resorts, Lyme Regis with the famous Cobb Harbour.

For Christmas and New Year there is a min of 4 night stay. Bank holidays are a 3 night stay min.

A well behaved pet is welcome but must never be left alone in the property and always kept on a lead. Small charge applies.

Accessibility

The Milking Parlour has downstairs bedrooms but is not suitable for wheelchair access. Other accommodation on site is suitable.

Linen

All linen and towels are provided.

Bathrooms

All rooms are en suite with a further downstairs lavatory.

We have a choice of bouncy castles on site that can be provided by prior arrangement. Open space for activities.

Outdoor

There is 100 acres of private woodland, fields and rivers to explore, hot tubs and outdoor seating.

There is ample parking.

Smoking

Smoking is not permitted in any of the properties.

Booking Information

20% deposit on booking, balance due 1 week prior to arrival.

2 night minimum stay.

Check in from 3pm, check out by 10.30am. Flexible changeover days.

Prices based on full occupancy and dependent on the number of nights.

Off the A35, Kilmington is signposted, turn into Whitford Road, Cranberries Hideaway is approx 1 mile along Whitford Road on the right hand side.

The ancient town of Axminster.
We have a village post office and store, there is a fantastic farm shop within walking distance and the larger shops and supermarkets in Axminster.
There is a number of village and seaside restaurants and inns to choose from.
Exeter, 25 miles.
Axminster, 1 mile.
There is a bus stop on the main road A35 approx 1 mile.
