Sleeps 10 - 40 7 Bedrooms 40 Dining

Great venue for youth groups of up to 40, with games room, classroom, low ropes course, flexible catering, near Dorking

Holiday Rental for Groups of Families and Friends. The Mill, Forest Green, Dorking, Surrey, sleeps 10 - 40 in 7 bedrooms.

The Mill is an old corn mill, sympathetically coverted into sleeping accommodation – 7 bunk-bedded rooms of 18, 5 x 4 and 1 x 2 and other functional areas. On the ground floor, the cosy dining room can be configured to suit with stackable tables and fold away chairs. The substantial kitchen has a commercial oven, domestic oven, fan oven, 3 microwaves, 3 dishwashers, 3 freezers, 2 large upright fridges, 3 large sink areas (1 double) and a large walk in larder. There is also a snug with an inglenook fireplace with wood burner that is a cosy seating area, usually for the adults, offering Sky TV and a DVD player.
The Servery is a separate room, very well stocked with crockery, cutlery, glasses, table cloths, as well as a plumbed in urn with constant boiling water and a large dry bain marie enabling efficient meal service.
Adjacent to the main building is the Cass building comprising a practical classroom with sinks, a computer classroom with 14 working PCs (internet and Word) and a games room with table tennis, pool, table football and a Wii.
From late March until early October 2 long marquees are in place in front of the main building enabling outside eating and art/craft activities for 80 approx. Outside is set up with a camping field, a cricket field, a football field, a wooded area with a go kart (pedal) track and a campfire site with basic seating. In the top right corner of the grounds is a Low Ropes Course, a wonderful team building activity for students aged 6+ years. The grounds are virtually a nature reserve with woody clusters, a pond with central island and running streams. Many varieties of birds, plants and flowers are to be spotted.
Leith Hill tower is approximately 45 mins walk away along a safe, sandy marked path. It has a look out point at the top and a servery at it’s base selling hot and cold drinks and homemade cakes and snacks. There are many on and off road cycle routes on the doorstep with local bike hire and tuition very close by.
