Model Farm is a gorgeous combination of 17th century farmhouse and Victorian front set in 4 acres of stunning formal grounds and lawns. The fantastic loggia, an undercover outside seating space with barbecue, is perfect for group socialising on warmer evenings. Those guests fancying some rest and relaxation will gravitate towards the wood fired Scandinavian hot tub under the pergoda looking onto pretty mature gardens.

Living accommodation is comfortable at Model Farm with a spacious kitchen diner for food prep and sharing delicious suppers. The owners can give you contact details of private chefs who work in the area too. The lounge is a beautiful room, awash with traditional features such as very high ceilings, enormous picture windows, period furniture and an open fireplace to cosy up to on chillier nights. Sit back on the leather sofas and watch a film together or settle down over a favourite tipple for a catch up into the early hours.

And for a celebration your group can use the Orangery - a great party space easily able to seat 30.

Bedrooms are ideal for a mixed group with a combination of doubles, twins or triple rooms, all individually designed with classic decoration and soft furnishings. Pull out beds can be added for extra guests if required. 5 of the bedrooms have en suite shower rooms and there are 3 more family bathrooms.

Model Farmis a large holiday house near Bridgwater and the Quantock Hills, and a great base from which to explore the area, with walks from the door and along the Parret Way. The village of Cannington is a decent stroll and is home to 4 pubs, a treat for a pint before dinner. Bridgwater is a short drive away, a market town filled with historic attractions and industrial heritage. Glastonbury Tor is an easy day trip, as is Taunton. If you fancy a trip to the coast, Burnham-on-Sea and the South West Coastal Path is only 25 minutes away. There are also local activity and horse riding centres, golf and lots of activities for hen parties.
