For groups of up to 11 in 5 bedrooms, Kingsley (5), Cook's (4) and Bakehouse (2) are all at ground floor level, set around a courtyard and are dog friendly. If your group is larger, other apartments/suites can be added to suit.

The 4 apartments at Moreton House Devon have been tastefully created retaining beautiful traditional high ceilings, sash windows and fireplaces, transforming historical features of Victorian, Georgian and Edwardian architecture into luxury accommodation for groups. This venue is perfect for celebrations for multi generational families and friends, and the facilities ideal for retreat groups, corporate events and weddings. We also accept respectful stags and hens.

The Kingsley Suite is the largest apartment, with an entertaining space that can seat all 22 guests for an informal meal. Kingsley Suite has a wheelchair accessible bathroom, with all the ground floor apartments generally accessible too. All 4 apartments have fully equipped kitchens as well as sociable dining areas and lounges to relax in. Bedrooms are individually designed, beautiful spaces with charming decor and soft furnishings. Decadent bathroom facilities include shower rooms, a double ended bath and roll top baths for maximum indulgence. There's an indoor playroom for children.

For a special celebration the house offers a range of function rooms and bar facilities for up to 100 guests (additional charge applies). Your wedding ceremony can take place in the ballroom followed by a wedding breakfast in the grand dining room, arrange a board meeting in the lounge, or celebrate a birthday with private dining or a party in the Morning Room. Your hosts can organise catering for your event.

Set in stunning grounds with gardens, grass, woodland, croquet lawn, a secret garden and The Imaginarium story corner, there are magical areas to explore. Take the party outside with French doors opening onto a terrace, perfect for a cocktail at sundown and a family barbecue.

In the unlikely event that guests will want to leave Moreton House, Appledore and the pretty heritage village of Clovelly are nearby, as well as lovely sandy beaches including Westward Ho!. The Big Sheep theme park is next door for a family day out. Easy access to the Southwest Coastal Park and Tarka Trail for walks and rides. Bikes, boards, SUPs and kayaks available to borrow.
