The entrance hall with Palladian style portico is a spectacular setting for a wedding or drinks reception. The impressive Jacobean style dark oak staircase provides a fittingly grand entrance and is perfect for photos. For a smaller event, opt for a micro wedding in The Club Room, elegant and bright with original features including sash windows and rich oak parquet. A celebration wedding feast can be set up in the large dining room with an evening party in the Morning Room which has a bar for drinks. Packages can include all furniture and banqueting set up, making organising from a distance easy.
During the summer take your ceremony onto the lawn in front of the house. The magnificent grounds and gardens also provide many special hidden corners for wedding day photographs – in the Secret Garden or on the Croquet Lawn.
Up to 30 of your nearest and dearest can stay at Moreton House, with additional guest bedrooms added to our main group offering when the function rooms are in use. Very flexible arrangements and extra beds possible for large numbers, and coordination offered to bring your plans to fruition.
