Once traditional farm buildings, Mornacott’s holiday cottages have been carefully restored to blend rustic charm with modern comfort. Exposed beams, vaulted ceilings and stylish interiors create a warm, inviting atmosphere, perfect for families and groups large or small. The estate provides fantastic shared amenities: a heated indoor pool, with floor-to-ceiling windows framing stunning countryside views, a sauna perfect for soothing tired joints after a day exploring, and well-stocked games room featuring table tennis, pool table, darts and several board games. Outside activities across the wider estate include guided walks, wildlife safaris, a sports and games field. The farmhouse is the largest of the properties, perfect for large families or groups of friends. Its elegant décor, multiple lounges and well-equipped kitchen provide everything needed for a comfortable stay. A handcrafted dining table, made from the estate’s own timber, seats up to 24 people for a memorable group dining experience. Barbecue packs are available and a private chef can be arranged. The 3 other properties offer well-equipped kitchens and spacious dining areas, generous bedrooms thoughtfully designed, with both Orchard and Barn Cottages providing downstairs rooms. All offer a mix of super king or twin (zip and link), double and twin bedrooms, flexible for different group configurations. Outside are spaces for seating, bbqs and picnics. South Molton is the gateway to Exmoor National Park, an area of open moorland with wild ponies, great walking trails and pretty villages.
