Mulberry House is a traditional Arts and Crafts house retaining gorgeous period features including its thatched roof and latticed windows. There are fabulous open plan living areas with a fully equipped 28 foot kitchen, dining for 12 and a light filled sitting room with French doors opening to the gardens. The kitchen is well set up for preparing a group meal to be served at the inside dining table for 12 or outside on the patio. The lounge is a wonderful space for relaxing together and the downstairs playroom ideal for family fun and somewhere for the youngsters to head to after supper.
The gardens and orchard are very pretty with plenty of space for the children and dogs to use up excess energy while the adults share a drink and set to work on the barbecue. There is also a swimming pool available for private hire along with a Jacuzzi and sauna. Dunston Hall Country Club is nearby with access to a gym, golf, spa and tennis. Just ask for details.
The 5 bedrooms are a useful combination of kings, a double and twin as well as a quad room with 2 double bunks perfect for the kids to share. All have lovely garden or orchard views, plenty of space and attractive soft furnishings for comfort. One of the rooms has an en suite shower and bath room. There's also a shared family bathroom as well as a separate WC.
There are walks from the door and the house is also close to the Tass Valley carp lakes for any keen fishermen in the group. Wymondham is a pretty market town worth visiting for its abbey and heritage museum. The north Norfolk coast is easily reached with access to fabulous beaches at Cromer, Wells and Holkham. Norwich is an historic city with a famous cathedral as well as quaint streets and a lively market to enjoy.
