Nannerth Country Holidays is perfect for multi-generational family groups and friends wishing to make the most of the natural environment, but with a high standard of comfort. Each property has settees for the number it sleeps, polished oak floors and fitted carpets, a mix of modern and antique furniture, and TVs and DVD players. Additionally we have 2 vintage caravans each sleeping 2 and can offer wild camping on the farm. Larger groups can therefore be accommodated. Here on our 200 acre traditional farm you can explore from the door - woodlands, hay meadows, riverside, wetlands and wild moorland, then relax in a hot tub under the stars. This is an ideal place for outdoor activities either on or adjoining the premises. Stroll quietly along the riverbank and around the farm trail, or tackle longer distance hill walks on the network of public rights of way. Brilliant mountain bike or cycle routes for most levels of fitness are accessible from Nannerth Country Holidays and the Sustrans long distance cycle route 8 passes through the farm. Relax on the sunny decks and garden areas outside the properties. The Tollant and Granary have their own private hot tubs and barbecues may be borrowed. Make friends with our lovely goats and their frisky kids, see lambing and bottle feed lambs when we have orphans. Badger watching is available from our treehouse hide and hands on falconry experiences are available nearby. We farm in an environmentally sensitive way and have preserved many wild areas on the farm so that wildlife can thrive. In particular we have over 55 bird species recorded, as well as healthy numbers of dragonflies, damselflies and amphibians. If you are lucky you may see otters and water vole. Photographers frequently stay here to capture the stunning landscapes and the amazing bird life such as pied flycatchers, redstarts and red kites. Evenings can be lively in the small market town of Rhayader or just relax in the hot tub under the stars. Elan Valley is a designated dark skies area. ## Facilities - **WiFi:** Mobile reception best with Vodafone, more limited reception with 02 and EE. In case of emergency the farm landline can be used. - **Accessibility:** All properties have steps, but can accommodate those with some mobility problems. - **Dog Friendly:** Up to 2 dogs can be booked into our dogstay cabin. Please request information about prices and terms/conditions. - **Kitchen:** Well equipped kitchens, the Tollant and Granary have good food preparation areas and plenty of fridge and freezer space, with a dishwasher in each. - **Dining Room:** Dining rooms with large tables next to kitchen area. The Tollant dining area can seat 10 people comfortably for meals, 12 absolute max. - **Sitting Room:** Each cottage has an open plan sitting room area adjoining the dining area. Comfy settees, polished oak flooring and a mix of antique/modern furniture. - **TV and Music Facilities:** TVs, DVD and radios in each. - **Games Room:** Games room and children's play area. - **Heating and Open Fires:** Central heating/fixed heating in all. Wood burners in all except Loft. - **Bedrooms:** 6 in total: doubles, twins and 1 family room in Tollant. - **Linen:** Linen and towels provided. Swimming towels must be brought if the hot tub/s are booked. - **Bathrooms:** Some have baths, some showers and some both. Outdoor wetroom also available if requested in advance. - **Children's Facilities:** Games room, outdoor play area, friendly animals.
