Located within the historic city of Hereford, Stephens Hall at the Royal National College for the Blind provides flexible and welcoming accommodation for 50 guests across 50 single comfortable en suite rooms. Available outside of term time, our facilities are ideal for group stays, training camps, residential courses and retreats. 3 generational families and friends might also enjoy this venue as a central place for a meet up or milestone birthday break within very easy reach of Hereford's amenities and attractions. With youth groups in mind there is secure swipe pass entry. Fully equipped communal kitchens make cooking together easy and it's also an option to make use of the campus catered facility at the bistro in the student village, open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Washing machines and dryers are available on each corridor for convenience. Sit down together in the spacious dining hall or use the space as a meeting room for business purposes. Communal lounges allow everyone to relax together on comfy sofas, with TV and WiFi access. Bedrooms are singles, all with a private shower and WC, plus desks, wardrobe and shelving units. Hereford Cathedral, home to the world famous Mappa Mundi and Chained Library, is within walking distance, and in the historic streets of the city there are plenty of interesting shops and a range of good eateries and pubs. Herefordshire is cider country and the Cider Museum is a popular destination.
