Cwm Ivy Lodge Bunkhouse, managed by the National Trust, is tucked away in woodland next to the Whiteford Burrows National Nature Reserve and is a fantastic base for birdwatching and accessing the stunning beaches and countryside of the Gower Peninsular.
Sleeping 10 in simple but comfortable bunkhouse accommodation, Cwm Ivy Lodge has everything you need for a weekend or longer holiday with family and friends. The living and dining room has plenty of comfy seating and a table which seats the whole group for dinner. The kitchen has all essential items, and outside there's a fabulous terrace with seating for al fresco eating and barbecues. Two bedrooms offer bunk beds with an accessible twin available too, with an en suite shower room.
A drying room with boot and coat storage makes this bunkhouse suitable for outside enthusiasts, and 2 dogs are welcome to stay too.
The nearby village of Llanmadoc has a village shop and a pub. The nearest beach is just a mile away at Whiteford, but the Gower Peninsular has several to choose from, with vast expanses of sand, spectacular cliffs and great walking on the Coastal Path.
