Dudmaston Bunkhouse sits within the wider Dudmaston Estate, a National Trust property surrounded by parkland and woodland, with walking and mountain bike trails which bunkhouse guests can also enjoy.
This simple bunkhouse sleeping 16 has a comfortable living room and dining kitchen, as well as an extra multi-purpose room which can be used for meetings, special interests or just as extra space for getting together with family and friends. Bedrooms are mostly 2 person bunk rooms, with a couple of singles at ground floor level, one of which is wheelchair accessible and has an en suite wet room. There are plenty of shower and bath facilities ensuring that there's never a long queue. And it's all kept cosy by biomass heating.
Surrounding the bunkhouse are areas of grass where your group can play games or picnic. 2 dogs are also welcome, but please note that the grass areas are not fenced.
The surrounded area has plenty to interest guests of Dudmaston, with nearby Bridgnorth once a busy river port and now a pretty town with a dramatic cliff railway, and the Shropshire Hills offering fantastic walking trails amid spectacular scenery. There are many activities available locally including quad biking, paint balling, golf and fishing, and restaurants and pubs offer a range of gastronomic delights.
