Sorry, no hen or stag groups at this property.
This National Trust bunkhouse is an 18-bed, dormitory style Grade II listed barn conversion located on the edge of Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park. Once part of a working farm, Hendre Isaf Bunkhouse sits within the Ysbyty Estate which is home to over 8,000 hectares of open moorland and 50 hill farms, and the largest single estate managed by the National Trust.
The bunkhouse itself is over 400 years old, and full of character, with plenty of shared space to relax and enjoy the setting. The large open plan dining and sitting room can seat everyone for dinner with comfy seating for most, making it perfect for bringing together a large group of friends or extended family, for a celebration or an outdoor activity weekend in North Wales. A drying room is an extra handy facility for outdoor enthusiasts too. The 2 dorm rooms have privacy partitions, and there's also a single available.
Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon), the tallest mountain in Wales, is a 30 minute drive away, and there are plenty of walks and places to explore right here on the estate. Betws-y-Coed is just 6 miles away, and known as the ‘Gateway to Snowdonia’ this thriving little town caters for all.
