Stay at this wonderful regency-style rectory near the Lincolnshire coast close to Skegness that's perfect for admirers of Georgian buildings, but equally perfect if you're just looking for somewhere with a bit of character to bring your large family or hold a celebration for a special birthday. The Old Rectory, owned by the National Trust, sleeps 11 in style.

Once inside, you'll love the high ceilings and period details like the beautiful fireplaces and wood panelling. The grandeur doesn't stop there though, and the elegant sitting room and large kitchen provide wonderful communal spaces for getting everyone together, over afternoon tea or champagne. The striking green dining room with floor to ceiling window comfortably seats 11 too, so you can all sit down to meals together as well.

You'll find all the 6 classically styled bedrooms on the first floor; 3 doubles (one with en suite), 2 twins and a single. There are also two bathrooms with separate showers on this floor too, so there's definitely enough space for everyone to enjoy their stay in comfort.

The garden that surrounds the rectory is mainly lawn, with gravelled paths that crunch pleasingly underfoot. There's also an old air raid shelter in the front garden, though this is kept locked for safety reasons.

Nearby, you'll discover the coastal town of Skegness, with all the typical seaside charm you'd expect, or you can head to the Lincolnshire Wolds for miles of walking opportunities.

## Booking Information

- Preferred changeover day is Thursday. Minimum 3 night stay. Deposit is 1/3 of the total holiday cost, with the balance to be paid 8 weeks before arrival unless booking made less than 8 weeks prior, when full payment is due immediately.
