Nature’s Spectacular, a glamping holiday site in the Chew Valley, offers like-minded guests an idyllic 35 acre woodland to explore and enjoy - the perfect venue for friends and family groups to spend quality time together in a free and fun environment.

The 4 units, all different, provide a great choice of interesting accommodation with quirky kitchens and practical lounge diners. The big emphasis is on being outdoors where undercover seating along with individual hot tubs make for a laid back break with plenty of luxury. By night the woodland is lit up with coloured lights, perfect for a magical evening stroll and guaranteed to fascinate the youngsters. Overlooking the spectacular Chew Valley Lake, this is a great central location for gathering loved ones from various parts of the UK.

The choice of units is ideal for multi generation families who like to have options and require privacy. The new all weather communal kitchen and dining area is well kitted out for preparing group meals, with lots of picnic benches and fire pits to gather round with music provided via the Minirigs sound system. Each accommodation is self contained with kitchen, lounge and dining facilities. Beds are comfortable with stylish soft furnishings and enough space. All have their own hot showers except Yurt Lush with its own roll top bath.

The Mendip Hills provide a fabulous playground for keen walkers and cyclists to explore ancient monuments and indigenous wildlife. Chew Valley Lake has opportunities for those who enjoy fishing or sailing and a visit to nearby Cheddar Gorge and Caves is an absolute must. Further afield, trips to Bath, Bristol and even Glastonbury can be on the agenda, all just a short drive from the site. Chew Magna is 5 minutes in the car or within a reasonable walking distance offering a choice of pubs, restaurants and cafes to suit all tastes.

Inside and outside dining for each unit and in the new communal area with 5 picnic benches, each seating 8. Fire pits.
There are logs to sit on around the firepits. Lounge areas in the accommodation have comfy seating.
Minirigs sound system for use in the communal area.
No WiFi - enjoy being off grid! Mobile phone signal is good.
There is no games room but there's plenty of outside space to enjoy.
Shared fire pits in the new communal space. All units are centrally heated. Yurt Lush has underfloor heating.
Big Red - 1 double and 2 bunks. Green Room - 2 kings and a sofa bed. Yurt Lush - 1 double and a sofa bed. Deer Cabin - 1 double and 2 bunks.
Please bring your own bedding and towels.
Shared shower facilities in communal area. Compost toilets within easy reach of camp. Hot showers and WC in each unit. Yurt Lush has a roll top bath.

Off road secure parking for all guests in car park. Wheelbarrows are available to transfer luggage to the accommodation.

Dogs are permitted for a small fee by prior arrangement.


The camp is just 8 miles from Bristol and is very accessible for major routes including the M5, M4 and A368. Close to Bath and Cheddar Gorge and minutes from the village of Chew Magna.

Booking Information

2 night minimum stay. Check in is from 4pm and check out is by 11am. Dogs allowed in accommodation for a small charge of £25. There is an additional cleaning fee of £20 per unit.
