Self-contained farmhouse sleeping 14 for exclusive use of groups. New Farm is an ideal holiday venue for family, friends, hen and stag groups, with plenty of space for yoga, Pilates, hikes and bikes.
The farmhouse has a large dining room to seat your entire group - perfect for celebration dinners or catching up with family and friends together. The lounge has plenty of comfy seating with a wall mounted smart TV and all bedrooms each have TVs. All but two bedrooms (which share the bathroom on landing) have shower facilities. Outside there's a private garden with a large entertaining patio area, equipped with a barbecue, firepit and outside seating for dining al fresco.
New Farm is a working farm which was established in 1955 and has seen many changes over the last 70 years. The farm has a suckler beef herd of 300 with 500 acres of grassland and arable crops. Guests are welcome to walk around the farm to witness the daily working life of the family. Dogs are welcome to stay (at a small cost) and must be kept under responsible control outside the house boundaries-leads preferred.
We are very close to Porthkerry Park (20 minute walk) which leads onto the Pebble Beach and the infamous Barry Island with its sweeping beach, famous from the Gavin & Stacy series. The Heritage Coastal Path runs across our fields with a wonderful vista from the cliff tops. Cardiff is about 30 minutes away with a good road system and rail service on the doorstep.
