Hikes and cycle routes from the door make this the perfect choice for those who want to leave the car behind. Horse lovers might wish to stable their own pony here and try out some new hacks as part of the holiday. On site private fishing is another option for experienced or novice fishermen (please book in advance). Mews Hill has an integral games room, hugely popular with the kids but equally a fun place for some family entertainment. A hot tub is available upon request.
Living spaces at Mews Hill and Criddlestyle are spacious and welcoming with wood burning stoves, large TVs and plenty of seating. Mews Hill also has a bright and airy conservatory. Both houses have good sized dining rooms for the number of guests staying although Mews Hill has a table that will seat 23 guests so that everyone can enjoy eating together. Enjoy the great welcome hamper and locally sourced fresh flowers.
Bedrooms are a mix of kings, twins, a family room and bunks, flexible for a multi generation group. Plenty of ground floor en suite accommodation is handy for anyone less mobile. Bathrooms are spread across both houses and include baths, showers and wet rooms. Criddlestyle even has a luxury Jacuzzi bath.
In under 10 minutes, drive to Blashford Lakes Nature Reserve for guided walks and family events. In nearby Fordingbridge join the Avon Valley walk and look out for the Medieval 7 arch bridge as you pass through. A day out at the beach is well within reach at Bournemouth or Lymington.
