Situated in 65 acres of stunning grounds in the New Forest National Park, Avon Tyrrell has something for everyone from outdoor learning residentials for schools, development programmes for youth organisations to short breaks away for family and friends. With an extensive range of outdoor adventure and field studies activities linked to the National Curriculum, personal and professional development programmes, to indoor meeting spaces for various self-guided activities, Avon Tyrrell is the ideal location for group retreats.

Avon Lodge is our largest lodge with 2 shower rooms and 1 en suite, a large kitchen and a large open plan living space. With 7 twin rooms and a large balcony space, ideal for groups looking to run workshops.

Whitefield has 1 twin room and 3 rooms for 4 people in bunk beds. It has an open plan living space and 2 shower rooms, making it a great option for families and groups.

Black Firs comes with a built-in ceiling hoist and widened corridors, has 2 shower rooms and 5 bedrooms (4 twin rooms and 1 room with 4 built in bunk beds).

Our 6 berth lodges come with one twin room and two rooms with bunk beds, making them the perfect choice for a small family get away.

All lodges come with a fully equipped kitchen space including; fridge/freezer, oven, kettle, toaster, microwave, utensils, pans, cutlery and crockery.

The lounge areas all have TV/DVD player, WIFI access and plenty of space for dining. Central heating is provided along with bedding.

If you are looking to make the most of your visit, you can book your group on to various outdoor activities including; Archery, Climbing, Kayaking, Paddleboarding, High Ropes, Bushcraft, Raft Building, Zip Wire and more….

In addition to our forest lodges, we can also accommodate groups on a full board basis in our Grade I listed house or various camping areas are available for groups and families looking to really experience the great outdoors.
