Based in Shap in the Eden Valley, on the edge of the Lake District National Park, the Howgills and the Pennine Fells, New Ing Lodge offers comfort at an affordable price.
New Ing Lodge is ideal for large groups of people interested in walking, cycling, outdoor activities or simply a group of people that are looking for a peaceful retreat. The Lodge itself can accommodate parties of up to 30 people or add on the additional 3 newly renovated barn apartments to sleep up to 37 (the main house can be booked without the apartments as the apartments are completely separate to the main house and garden). We welcome family and friend gatherings as well as school or work trips but unfortunately do not allow stag or hen groups.Â
The Lodge has 11 bedrooms, 10 of which are doubles, twins or family rooms, made up with crisp white linens. The other is a bunk room with 2 x bunk beds. We have room to seat 24 in the dining room plus another 6 at the table in the kitchen. The 3 barn apartments can be booked along side the main house (or separately) and all have 1 bedroom each.
With a large garden to the rear of the property, including a fire pit and BBQ area, a children's play park and a Sauna. We also have an onsite bar in which we can supply you with barrels of beer so that you can pull your own pints and act the landlord behind your own bar for your stay!
Only 5 minutes from junction 39 on the M6, we are in a very handy location for those coming from all parts of the country.
