This gem of a holiday house near Elie and the coast really is the bee's knees. The perfect option for friends, families and small corporate groups looking for flexibility with lots of luxury thrown in, Old School House of Newburn sits high above Lower Largo, offers stylish open plan living with 2 lounges for added choice. Extensive Firth of Forth views can be seen through every window and enjoyed from the beautifully landscaped gardens, summer house and viewing platform. The games room at the top of the house is somewhere to have a friendly and fun table tennis tournament while the others retire to the main lounge for a chat, some TV or a look through the well stocked book shelves.

The open plan kitchen diner is a high point with its gorgeous Shaker kitchen equipped with an AGA, dishwasher and washing facilities. Dinner can be prepared sociably and everyone can sit down at the table together making the most of a large airy space with light flooding in. The exquisitely decorated plum lounge oozes opulence with sumptuous velvet sofas and a cosy open fire to sit back and savor some chill time. The alternative sitting room is ideal for multi generation groups where some quiet time might be appreciated. The entrance hall would be a great spot for a small corporate drinks reception or as another place to relax next to a blazing fire.

The 7 bedrooms are a convenient combination of doubles, twins and singles. All are spacious and some are double aspect to admire the wide reaching seascape. Soft furnishings are plush and a few of the rooms have traditional feature fireplaces and period furniture. Contemporary facilities are plentiful across the house with 2 showers and 1 bath.

Guests probably won't want to go far once settled into Old School House but one can walk to the beach at Lower Largo in under 20 minutes. Lower Largo is also now home to The Crusoe Pub and Restaurant, sister of The Ship Inn in Elie.

## Booking Information

- Check in from 4pm, check out by 10am. A refundable security deposit is required. Any events at the house need to be agreed with the owners prior to arrival. A starter pack of logs, bin bags and toiletries will be made available. No dogs upstairs or on the furniture please.
