Original fireplaces, grand sash windows, high ceilings and historic details sit alongside comfortable furnishings and contemporary touches, creating a relaxed setting for family gatherings, celebrations, corporate retreats and group stays. The house and flats sleep 30+ guests across 15 individually designed bedrooms. Each room has its own character, with carefully chosen furnishings and calming heritage-inspired colours. There are plenty of comfortable spaces throughout the house for groups to spend time together or spread out, with a choice of elegant reception rooms for relaxing, socialising and unwinding. There will also be a games room with a pool table, providing a space for some friendly competition and relaxed evenings together. The dining room has seating for 24 guests around the main table, with a further table available for 6, allowing the whole group to dine together. The spacious country kitchen is well equipped for catering for larger groups, with generous preparation space and a large central island. If you would rather not cook, the property is also well suited to private catering and special occasion dining. Outside, the house is surrounded by expansive gardens and mature grounds, with plenty of space for garden games, outdoor gatherings or simply enjoying the countryside. A luxury outdoor hot tub will provide a relaxing spot to unwind after a day out, while the lawns offer a lovely setting for drinks, games and long summer evenings. Newhouse is ideally placed for exploring Kent, known as the Garden of England. The surrounding area has a mix of pretty villages, historic houses and attractions, country walks and vineyards, while the Kent coast is within easy reach for a day by the sea. Ashford is nearby for shops, restaurants and transport connections, making it easy to explore further afield. Please note that Newhouse is currently undergoing refurbishment and redecoration.
